Van Don: Launching a special emulation movement among the forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level

On the morning of December 13, Van Don district held a ceremony to launch a special emulation movement among the forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.

On July 1, 2024, Van Don district established 72 security and order protection teams with 270 members. After a period of operation, the force participating in security and order protection at the grassroots level has operated stably and effectively; participated in grasping the situation related to security and order, providing the commune-level police with dozens of reports, supporting the commune-level police in resolving many cases related to security and order protection groups, fire prevention and fighting, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in the area...

Forces signed a competition covenant at the launching ceremony.

In order to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, motivate, encourage, and cheer the forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level to actively compete and strive to carry out the work of ensuring security and order in the area, Van Don district has launched a competition movement among the security and order protection forces at the grassroots level with the theme "New force, new spirit, competing to support the Commune-level Police to ensure security and order for Party Congresses at all levels and major events of the country in 2025". The competition movement starts from August 19, 2024 to August 19, 2025 with 7 main contents including: Emulating to support the Commune-level Police to grasp the security and order situation, social evils, and domestic violence in the area; emulating to support the building of the All People's Movement to Protect National Security; emulating to perform well the task of supporting the Commune-level Police in fire prevention, fighting, rescue, and relief work; Emulate to support the Commune Police to perform well the task of administrative management of social order; emulate to support the Commune Police to mobilize, educate , and reform law violators currently residing in the area; emulate to support the Commune Police to patrol to ensure security and order, traffic safety; emulate to build, promote, and replicate the beautiful images of the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.

The emulation movement is divided into 2 phases for implementation. Phase 1, from August 19, 2024 to February 3, 2025: Emulation to achieve achievements to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025). Phase 2, from February 4, 2025 to August 19, 2025: Emulation to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Celebrating the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

From this special emulation movement, it is aimed to discover, build and replicate advanced models, examples of "good people, good deeds" in the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; new, good and effective ways to replicate and commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level. At the same time, it is necessary to carry out well the work of propaganda, dissemination and guidance on the implementation of the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level and the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and the Ministry of Public Security 's regulations on protecting security and order, and building a movement for the entire people to protect national security.
