From February 17th, 2026 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), the historical site will reopen to serve local people and domestic and international tourists. Opening hours are daily from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
This time slot is suitable for sightseeing and worship, and also allows visitors to participate in cultural and artistic activities taking place within the historical site's grounds.
Visiting the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam National Special Monument during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, tourists can participate in the Spring Calligraphy Festival - a traditional cultural event that attracts a large number of people every year. During this time, many unique cultural and artistic activities will also be organized in the Inner Sanctuary, Ho Van Lake, and Giam Garden.
In addition, the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giám Cultural and Scientific Activities Center has developed a plan for parking during the 2026 Spring Calligraphy Festival at the historical site.
According to the plan, a free parking area will be located at 9 Trinh Hoai Duc Street (Hang Day Stadium area), operating from February 17th to February 22nd, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily.

For motorbikes, parking areas are located in designated zones within the Garden of the Guardians, open from February 14th to March 1st, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM daily.
The parking areas are organized according to traffic flow management plans, ensuring security, order, and fire prevention.
