Now, even though the whole neighborhood makes jackfruit mixed with shrimp, pork belly, pig ears, etc., my mother is still "faithful" to the original: boiled young jackfruit, sliced, mixed with a mixture of fish sauce, lemon, sugar, chili, garlic, and a little peanuts and coriander.
