After writing a "commentary" on the first two parts of the article "Proud and confident under the glorious flag of the Party, determined to build an increasingly rich, civilized, cultured and heroic Vietnam" by Professor, Doctor, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; "the former professor and current party traitor" Nguyen Dinh Cong continued to write a third article to so-called "comment" on the content of the third part of the article by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
The third part of the article by the head of the Communist Party of Vietnam is titled "Further promoting the glorious tradition of patriotism and revolution, determined to successfully achieve the country's development goals by 2025 and 2030, building an increasingly rich, civilized, cultured and heroic Vietnam".
This third part is truly a summary of the lessons learned from 94 years of revolutionary leadership of our Party through two periods of "wartime" and "peacetime" in our beloved Vietnam in the context of the world continuously experiencing many fierce wars in human history, the most fierce of which was the "Vietnam War" in the 20th century.
Following that was the last quarter of the 20th century, although our country was truly independent and unified, it still had to deal with isolation, siege, and economic embargo for a period no less long than the period of the war of national liberation. Up to now, after more than two decades of the first 21st century, with the steadfastness of the revolutionary line, our Party has steered the country's ship through countless difficulties of storms and tempests to determine the current position of the sacred Fatherland of Vietnam in the international arena.
In the third part of the article, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong raised the extremely complex situation of the modern world, to determine the direction of our country and people under the leadership of the Party. The General Secretary assessed the situation and determined the tasks of the Party and our country as follows: “We are proud and confident in moving forward under the glorious flag of the Party in the context of the world and domestic situation, besides opportunities and advantages, there will also be many difficulties and great challenges.
In the world, strategic competition, economic competition, and trade wars continue to be fierce; disputes over sovereignty of seas and islands are complicated; military conflicts in some regions of the world affect geopolitics, geo-economics, energy security and global supply chains; science - technology and the Fourth Industrial Revolution are developing strongly, creating both new opportunities and challenges for all countries and ethnic groups; climate change, natural disasters, epidemics and traditional and non-traditional security issues are increasingly having strong and multi-faceted impacts, which can seriously threaten the stability and sustainability of the world, the region and our country...
Domestically, we are still facing many difficulties and major challenges: To achieve the socio-economic development goals set by the 13th National Party Congress, the average growth rate for the 6 years from 2024 to 2030 must reach about 8%, the processing, manufacturing and service industries must develop more strongly, increasing by about 4.5 percentage points to contribute to economic growth; this is a very high level, requiring us to have high determination and great efforts to achieve it.
Faced with that reality, the General Secretary affirmed: “The above situation requires us to absolutely not be subjective, complacent, or too enamored with the results and achievements that have been achieved, nor too pessimistic or wavering in the face of difficulties and challenges; on the contrary, we need to be extremely calm, clear-headed, and make good use of the results and lessons learned, and overcome the remaining limitations and weaknesses, especially since the beginning of the 13th tenure, to continue to promote innovation, strive, and seize every opportunity and advantage; overcome all difficulties and challenges, and successfully implement the programs, plans, goals, and tasks set for the 13th tenure and until 2030”.
Regarding the upcoming situation and tasks that General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong objectively assessed and proposed so closely, the "Party traitor" - Professor Cong can only refute in a general way such as "The goals and targets of economic development are not set according to the market economy but are due to the tail of socialist orientation, the remnant of the planned economy, heavily subject to voluntarism".
Professor Cong said: “In addition to the vision for 2030, people also outline a vision for 2045 (the 100th anniversary of the regime’s establishment). The way of creating a vision is a characteristic of Vietnamese society in recent years. It is also a kind of voluntarism, especially in a volatile world.”
Reading this sentence, “people” cannot help but wonder, what is the basis for Professor Cong to say that? Is it possible that in this “turbulent world” outside of Vietnam, no one knows how to set a vision for the future? Thus, international organizations specializing in assessing the development speed of countries around the world must be “unemployed” if they do not come to Vietnam to study (?!)…
Of course, when asking these questions, "people" themselves already have the answer with... another question: is it because Professor Cong's whole life has only been studying, teaching, being the head of a department and writing books about the construction profession?
Specifically, he is an expert in construction materials such as concrete, but has never held any economic management or planning position, so he dares to boldly say (in a naive way) that "creating a vision... is also a kind of voluntarism"! Professor Cong also raised this arbitrary statement many times in his "commentary" on the third part of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's article, but perhaps it is not necessary to mention it here to waste ink!
Through studying the article on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam by Professor, Doctor, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and reading the series of "commentaries" on the above article by "concrete professor" Nguyen Dinh Cong, the author of this article feels that there is a huge disconnect between the profound, far-reaching analytical article of the highest leader of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the naive, superficial "commentary" of "the former professor and current traitor to the Party" Nguyen Dinh Cong. This disconnection, perhaps anyone who has read the two articles above carefully will realize.
Especially for those who have followed the path of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" of this "near-death" degenerate, they will clearly see the desperation of Professor Cong when "choosing" the passionate topic of a revolutionary theorist - the head of the Communist Party of Vietnam, a party that once led the people to defeat many invaders of the world's great powers, bringing the country to the shore of prosperity and happiness today, to "comment" with a distorted tone.
Professor Cong has written many articles criticizing and opposing our Party and State in many fields. However, with the latest series of "commentary" articles, right in these days of the Giap Thin New Year 2024, the "crazy monk" has really "hit his head on the rock" of our Party and our people, while "crazy", has shown that he is "exhausted" (!).
Conclusion
Buddhism has a saying “turning back is the shore” which means that when a person is playing in the middle of a deep river, if he really wants to turn back, he will immediately see the shore. More deeply, “turning back is the shore” implies a warning for people to stop doing wrong things before it is too late. This proverb also reminds people that when they make mistakes, they should know how to sincerely repent, sincerely correct themselves with the right thoughts, and positive actions will return them to their good human nature.
Mentioning this proverb here, in an article about the wrongdoings through the anti-Party and anti-State actions of Professor Cong, a person who used to be a “teacher” of university students, a 31-year-old Party member, and was honored as a “People’s Teacher”, the writer of this article honestly does not dare to “raise his voice…” to a person who is almost 90 years old and has such a glorious past.
But anyway, I hope that Professor Cong will have time to calm down, think, and review after 8 years of announcing his resignation from the Party. What has he done that is beneficial to society, his family, and himself, or has he only enjoyed a small amount of "meager royalties" from those who incited him to oppose our Party and State to benefit them (?!).
Perhaps, he was not happy when he let go of his entire career and his glorious contributions to the country many years ago, only to receive so much criticism, even "heavy" and "light" words that were not very pleasant to hear from people who were decades younger than him, including his former students.
Perhaps, if he could have that peace of mind for the rest of his life, he would feel truly lighter and more peaceful…
