Photographer Minh Hai

October, autumn in Hanoi is so beautiful, on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day, from October 28-29, 2024, at the Vietnamese Women's Museum (No. 36 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi), Photographer Minh Hai will organize a photo exhibition and launch his first photo book.

With the theme “Emotional Beauty of Photography”, the photo exhibition will present outstanding works, selected from tens of thousands of photo files, taken over nearly ten years of composition at home and abroad; at the same time, launch a photo book of the same name, published by Thong Tan Publishing House, introducing images of the typical beauty of 49 provinces and cities across the country and 19 countries around the world , places she has visited.

For a long time, through her personal page, I have secretly admired and found it very interesting to follow her creative journey, with continuous trips to experience at home and abroad, admiring many beautiful works about wild animals everywhere. Now with this photo book, a dedicated work of the artist, along with a more general view of the beauty of the regions, I appreciate even more the wonderful labor, patience, meticulousness in each work, the places she experienced, to bring to life more beautiful moments, vivid and impressive perspectives on life.

Growing up in a family with a glorious military tradition, in her childhood memories, she often saw her father coming out of the darkroom with documentary photos taken at the unit. Photographer Minh Hai is the daughter of Major General Nguyen Nhu Thiet ("Gray Tiger of Route 5") and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Trinh (Deputy Captain of the famous Hoang Ngan Guerrilla Team).

In 2021, on the occasion of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, Photographer Minh Hai introduced 30 works on Vietnamese heritage, relics, and craft villages, with the theme "Heritage of Memories" and 20 works on landscapes and wildlife; 70 works participated in the exhibition "Cultural Heritage, Vietnamese Landscapes and Traditional Craft Products", within the framework of the National Tourism Year in Ninh Binh and was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism .

In 2023, together with 2 photographers: Cuong Art and Nguyen Luan, she participated in the Exhibition "Colors of 3 Regions", with many creative perspectives, conveying meaningful messages...
