The activities are organized to create a useful summer playground for children with familiar activities closely related to the daily life of ethnic minorities introduced by the cultural subject itself; promote the role of responsibility to the community, continue to promote daily and weekend activities to introduce the culture, customs and practices of ethnic minorities, and experiential activities at the "Common House" of the community of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
At the same time, organize practical activities to demonstrate the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", repay gratitude,educate revolutionary traditions, patriotism, national pride, dedication and sacrifice of heroic martyrs and those who have contributed to the country towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).
July activities with the participation of more than 100 people of 16 ethnic groups (Nung, Tay, Mong, Dao, Muong, Lao, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, Co Tu, Raglai, E De, Khmer) with the participation of 11 localities where people are active daily in the Village (Thai Nguyen, Hanoi city, Ha Giang, Son La, Hoa Binh, Hue city, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Ninh Thuan, Dak Lak, Soc Trang).

With the theme "Summer - Experience and Discovery ", the July program will have activities such as: Introducing traditional culture with cultural subjects that are active daily in the Village. In particular, the highlight is the space to introduce traditional culture where visitors can learn about architecture, costumes, folk songs and dances, rituals, festivals... along with various types of performances, musical instruments, and folk games.
Coming to each village is an activity of experience, interaction with tourists, cultural subjects participating in the process of making and creating products, tourists listen to the locals tell stories, guide, operate, work together and have gifts to bring home for their families. In the process of creating those products, they also listen to stories about cultural life, stories associated with ethnic communities so that tourists can better understand the traditional values of ethnic groups as well as educate the love of homeland, the desire to learn and experience of children.
In particular, on weekends, Khmer people will organize the Rain Bathing Robe Offering Ceremony, also known as the Rain Bathing Ceremony. This is a ritual that has existed since the time of the Buddha, before monks entered the Rain Bathing Robe for 3 months of the rainy season, they were allowed to receive the "Rain Bathing Robe" to use during their stay. On this day, Buddhist families gather at the temple to offer the monks the four necessary items and the indispensable offering is the large candles that Buddhists bring to the temple to light continuously during the 3 months of the Rain Bathing Robe. This day marks the beginning of the Rain Bathing Robe at a temple. Buddhists at the Khmer temple prepare to offer the necessary items to the monks during the Rain Bathing Robe Season, hoping for a peaceful Rain Bathing Robe Season.
Along with that, there are activities such as: The folk song and dance program "Echoes of the origin" of the people is operating daily in the Village; Introducing and teaching about traditional musical instruments of ethnic groups, especially for villages with strengths in performing traditional musical instruments such as Ba, Xo Dang, Tay...
In addition, traditional cultural experience activities are organized enthusiastically with folk games such as: playing mandarin squares, checkers, bamboo puppets... in indoor spaces; walking on stilts, dancing on bamboo poles, swinging, seesaw... in outdoor spaces. Through some simple games, not only do they help students experience, learn, and explore nature and animals, contributing to training thinking skills, creativity, and dexterity, but they also strengthen friendship and family love.
In addition, there are daily and weekend activities, Homestay tourism programs, culinary experiences, folk games... to introduce the culture, customs and practices of the ethnic groups, along with experiential activities at the "Common House" of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, contributing to enhancing exchanges between ethnic groups, attracting tourists to the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism./.
