A crack was discovered on a hill in Tan Ly village, Lam Thuy commune, measuring over 40m in length and approximately 20-25cm in width, with some areas nearly 1m wide, directly affecting 13 households with 61 people.
On November 1st, Mr. Hoang Ly, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Thuy commune (Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province), stated that a large crack had appeared in Tan Ly village, posing a risk of landslide. Local authorities quickly coordinated with relevant forces to urgently evacuate residents to ensure their safety.

Earlier, Lang Ho Border Guard Station (Quang Binh Border Guard Command) coordinated with the Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue Command and Civil Defense of Lam Thuy commune, the commune police, and the villages to inspect the situation after the recent floods.

An inspection revealed a crack on the hill behind Tan Ly village, approximately 20-25cm wide, nearly 1m in some places, and over 40m long, located about 15m from the nearest house. This puts 13 households with 61 people at risk of landslides.

Given the critical situation, this afternoon, border guards, local authorities, and other forces mobilized and assisted in relocating 13 households to a safe location.
