On April 6, at Binh Thuy District Square (Can Tho City), artisan Le Thi Hong Dung - Director of Tay Do Culinary Training Company Limited - and 15 chefs made a giant banh xeo, attracting many visitors.

The pancake has a circumference of 9m, with fillings including Muscovy duck meat, shrimp and especially 100 Nha Trang lobsters. This is the largest pancake ever and is larger than the giant pancake made at the Southern Traditional Cake Festival in 2024.

Attending this event were actor Huynh Anh Tuan, singer Bach Cong Khanh and many KOLs.

Artisan Le Thi Hong Dung shared: "In 2024, at the Southern Traditional Cake Festival, we also made giant banh xeo, but this year we "put on a new shirt" for the banh xeo by making the filling from 100 Nha Trang lobsters, 9 meters in circumference. The finished banh xeo was shared by the organizers to the diners visiting the event."
