A total of 181 establishments across the three cities of Hanoi , Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City were honored by the Michelin Guide in various categories.
In addition to the prestigious Michelin star, the guide also awards Michelin Guide Special Awards; Michelin Guide Selected (restaurants recommended by Michelin); and Bib Gourmand (restaurants with delicious and affordable food).
109 restaurants, spread across three cities, were honored in the Michelin Selected category, with 14 new entries.

This year, the list of winners for "delicious and affordable food" has grown to 63 locations, including 9 new eateries, 5 in Hanoi and 4 in Da Nang . Ho Chi Minh City did not have any new restaurants added to the list.
Notably, among the 9 restaurants that received a Michelin star this year, one received a star on its first appearance on the selection list, and two restaurants, Ciel and CoCo Dining, upgraded their ranking from the previous year. Both restaurants are located in Ho Chi Minh City.
In particular, CoCo Dining was upgraded to one star, after being in the Michelin Selected category for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024).
"This is the first time we've received this honor," shared Chef Vo Thanh Vuong of CoCo Dining.
Notably, the restaurants in Hanoi honored mainly focus on traditional cuisine and rustic decor. Famous eateries serving pho, eel vermicelli, and rice rolls in the capital city continue to be on this year's list, such as Pho Tien, Pho Ga Cham, Chan Cam eel vermicelli (Hoan Kiem district), Ba Xuan rice rolls, Ba Hoanh rice rolls, etc.
"We are proud to see the number of Michelin-starred restaurants increase this year, along with the emergence of a talented new generation of chefs," said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of Michelin Guides.

As one of the restaurants honored with the Michelin Selected award (recommended by the Michelin Guide) for the third consecutive year, Ms. Pham Thi Bich Hanh, owner of two establishments in Hanoi, Quan An Ngon and Ngon Garden, expressed her pride.
Ms. Hanh stated that this is the result of the tireless efforts of a team including chefs, restaurant staff, managers, logistics personnel, and the company behind the business. Being honored three times in a row is a significant milestone and a great motivation for the business to continue improving and developing further.
“Defining our mission as ambassadors of Vietnamese cuisine has become a core element that we have pursued for many years. In the context of tourism closely linked to food, being chosen by Michelin is a great opportunity to promote Vietnamese cuisine and culture to international friends in a more profound way.”
"This is not only an honor for the restaurant but also a step forward in our journey to bring Vietnamese cuisine to the world," a representative from Ngon Garden shared.
Michelin stars assess the excellence and uniqueness of a restaurant. "Stars" are the Michelin Guide's rating system, ranging from one star (very good) to three stars (top-notch).
Michelin-starred restaurants are considered high-end culinary destinations where diners can experience exquisite dishes prepared by talented chefs.
One star was awarded to the restaurant for "having delicious food, well worth a stop to enjoy".
Two stars means "a restaurant with excellent food quality, well worth a visit".
Three stars (the highest rating) indicates "excellent food quality, well worth planning a trip to experience in person".
