ChatGPT Go is a cheaper and more flexible option offered by OpenAI. According to the latest update, ChatGPT Go will be available in Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam after being launched in India and recently Indonesia.
Users in these countries have seen plan prices displayed in their local currency, alongside international options like $4, €4, or £3.50. However, this plan is only available in developing markets and is not yet available to users in Europe or the US.
What does the ChatGPT Go package include?
The ChatGPT Go plan ($4.50 or nearly VND 120,000/month) offers some of the premium features of the Plus plan ($20/month), but does not include the full advanced capabilities of the GPT-5 Thinking and Thinking-High models.

ChatGPT Go users will get: Access to the standard GPT-5 model; Send messages and download files with extensions; Create images faster and with higher quality; Use longer memory and more extensive context; Access tools like Projects, Tasks, and Custom GPTs; Enjoy higher usage limits than the free version.
However, the Plus package ($20/month) still has many outstanding features, including: GPT-5 with advanced reasoning capabilities; Extended Agent Mode and Deep Research; Video creation with Sora; Codex Agent for programming.
The move to deploy ChatGPT Go is considered a strategic move by OpenAI to expand global coverage, helping users in developing countries access powerful AI technology at lower costs. In Vietnam, individual users are accessing the free ChatGPT packages, ChatGPT Plus (VND 522,500/month), ChatGPT Pro (VND 5,225,000/month).
Meanwhile, Google recently launched the cheapest AI Plus package, priced at 122,000 VND/month and with a 50% discount for the first 6 months. This package allows users to access the most powerful Gemini 2.5 Pro model and the Deep Research feature on the 2.5 Pro model. In addition, it is possible to create videos (limited quantity) with Veo 3 Fast.
