Vietcombank officially sells SJC gold bars through its mobile app.

Vietcombank (Vietnam Foreign Trade Commercial Bank - HoSE: VCB) has just announced the launch of the SJC gold bar purchase feature on the VCB Digibank application.

Accordingly, to further enhance customer convenience and service quality, Vietcombank will launch the SJC gold bar purchase service on VCB Digibank starting from August 27, 2024.

At the same time, the bank will also stop providing services for scheduling SJC gold bar purchases on the Vietcombank website and for paying for SJC gold bars at the counter.

Vietcombank also notes that this offer applies to Vietnamese individuals using the VCB Digibank application, who have an active VND payment account opened at Vietcombank.

Vietcombank launched the SJC gold bar purchase service on VCB Digibank starting August 27th.

The time for scheduling and paying for gold purchases on the VCB Digibank app is from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays. Customers paying for gold purchases cannot use their overdraft limit.

Upon arriving at the designated location for gold delivery, customers must present their identification documents and the gold purchase transaction code (ref number) that Vietcombank sent via OTT message/email registered with VCB Digibank.

Regarding the steps users need to take to register to buy gold, customers need to select the maximum quantity, location, and time for gold bar delivery at the counter in accordance with current regulations.

Next, review and update your personal information displayed on the transaction screen.

Make your gold purchase payment directly on the VCB Digibank app and receive an electronic invoice via the email address you registered with VCB Digibank.

Receive appointment confirmation along with specific information about the time and location for gold bar delivery via OTT message/email registered with VCB Digibank.

On the market, the buying and selling price of SJC gold at Doji Group in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City is currently at 79-81 million VND/ounce, remaining unchanged compared to the previous session. The buy-sell spread is 2 million VND/ounce.

At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the buying and selling price of SJC gold is 79-81 million VND/ounce. The difference between the buying and selling price is 2 million VND/ounce.
