Recently, the Board of Directors of VietinBank (Code: CTG) decided to approve the profit distribution plan for 2022.
According to the report, VietinBank's separate after-tax profit in 2022 is VND16,528 billion, of which the adjustment due to changes in previous year's profit is VND86 billion. Thus, the bank's undistributed profit in 2022 is VND16,442 billion.
VietinBank's remaining profit after deducting mandatory funds and welfare reward funds is VND11,648 billion. According to the approval of the competent State agency, the bank will use all of this remaining profit to pay stock dividends.
As of now, VietinBank's charter capital is VND53,700 billion. If all 2022 profits are retained, this figure will increase to VND65,300 billion, an increase of VND11,600 billion.
Previously, to achieve the charter capital of VND 53,700 billion, VietinBank kept the remaining profit of 2020.
Vietcombank (Code VCB) also announced plans to hold its 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 26, expected to approve regular reports and the 2023 profit distribution plan.
According to the report, by the end of 2023, Vietcombank recorded consolidated pre-tax profit of VND 41,244 billion, an increase of 10.4% compared to 2022.
Previously, the bank's 2023 General Meeting of Shareholders approved a plan to pay stock dividends from all after-tax profits of 2022 of more than VND21,000 billion. Last year, Vietcombank also completed increasing capital from 2020 profits and remaining profits in 2019 at a rate of 18.1%, bringing its charter capital to nearly VND56,000 billion.
