(NLĐO) - After two days of competition, the 2nd Padel Tournament organized by the Vietnam Tennis Federation officially concluded on the evening of May 17th.

The first Vietnam Padel Open 2026 concluded successfully after two days of exciting competition at the Vietpadel Country Club (Ho Chi Minh City) from May 16th to 17th.

The tournament brought together over 100 top Vietnamese athletes along with many international players living and working in Vietnam, creating nearly 70 high-quality, exciting, and competitive matches. The competitions were conducted professionally and fairly, demonstrating the growing popularity of padel in Vietnam.

The organizers awarded prizes totaling over 71 million VND, along with numerous gifts from sponsors, across 7 competition categories: Men's Doubles Open, Women's Doubles Open, Men's Doubles Amateur, Men's Doubles Semi-Amateur, Mixed Doubles Semi-Amateur, Women's Doubles Semi-Amateur, and Doubles Newbie.

More than just a sporting event, the Vietnam Padel Open - Heineken Cup 2026 also contributes to connecting the sports-loving community and spreading the dynamic, modern lifestyle that Padel represents worldwide.

This is the second national-level Padel tournament organized by the Vietnam Tennis Federation as part of its plan to build a professional competition system starting in 2025. In 2026, the Vietnam Tennis Federation plans to organize four national-level Padel tournaments to promote the sport and improve professional standards.

The tournament also plays an important role in the selection of athletes for international competitions, especially the 2026 Asian Games.
