For unverified subscribers, Viettel will send a text message to their phone number, requesting them to re-verify within 5 days. Failure to do so will result in a one-way blocked subscription, before proceeding to stronger measures such as two-way blocking or number revocation. Customers can simply visit a store or self-verify via the My Viettel/VNeID app to resume normal service.
In An Giang province , with over 1,000 subscriber information verification points, Viettel currently boasts the largest direct support network among telecommunications companies. This system is widely distributed, from urban to rural areas, allowing customers to flexibly choose the most convenient location for them, including:
- Official retail outlets: Viettel transaction stores and Viettel Store supermarkets throughout the province.
- Large retail chain systems: Reputable authorized partners such as The Gioi Dien May / Dien May Xanh.
- Local chain stores: Sales points and affiliated dealers in each commune, ward, and town provide direct support to people in remote areas.
- Mobile support points: These are proactively arranged by Viettel directly in hamlets, residential areas, or locations with large crowds.
- Home-based subscriber information verification support for the elderly.
- In coordination with the An Giang Provincial Youth Union, we mobilized youth forces and community digital transformation teams to focus on accelerating the standardization and verification of subscriber information.

Viettel is increasing its workforce to the maximum extent to serve citizens in verifying their personal information.
To support and encourage customers to quickly complete subscriber information verification as required by Circular 08, Viettel has launched a series of attractive promotional programs. Customers not only protect their "digital assets" but also receive a practical gift of 50,000 VND upon successful self-verification via My Viettel .
With the desire for each customer to become a technology "ambassador" helping relatives and friends stay updated with timely information and protect their SIM card ownership, Viettel is launching the "Spread Verification" program with a reward of 10,000 Viettel++ points for each successful referral. Viettel++ points can be redeemed for data, call credit, or countless attractive shopping and dining vouchers.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Hung – Director of Viettel An Giang – shared that, to prevent customers from experiencing communication disruptions due to technological barriers, Viettel has implemented a program to support home-based subscriber information verification for the elderly and other customer groups facing difficulties in completing the procedures as stipulated in Circular 08. These are also customer groups with limited health, mobility, unfamiliarity with smartphones, or lack of proficiency in technological operations. Many customers still use basic mobile phones, rarely check messages, or are not fully aware of the changes in subscriber management regulations.
The implementation of these promotional programs during this crucial period aims to further incentivize people to familiarize themselves with using digital platforms such as My Viettel/VNeID. These policies offer a "double benefit": They help customers comply with legal regulations and protect their SIM cards from fraud risks, while also providing practical rewards for daily communication and entertainment.

Viettel continues to advise customers to urgently check and verify their subscriber information before the official penalties for blocking outgoing calls are applied as per regulations. All operations on My Viettel and VNeID are quick (only 3-5 minutes), absolutely secure, and completely free. In addition, people need to be vigilant and absolutely not provide OTP codes or passwords to strangers calling claiming to be call center employees, and not access strange links requesting the download of fake applications to verify information.
