Entering the third season, Viettel Digital Talent has expanded both in terms of fields and training areas with 2 new fields, bringing the total to 6 fields - Cloud, Cyber Security, Data Science & AI, Internet of Things, 5G and Software & Data Engineering with 2 practical training locations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The program hopes to bring a lot of knowledge and practical experience to students from year 3, 4 and postgraduate students with excellent academic achievements in new technology fields.
During the first 3 months, students receive intensive training, guidance and career orientation by leading domestic and foreign experts (Australia, USA, Singapore, Germany, Taiwan...) from universities and large technology corporations (Viettel, Google, Shopee, University of Texas Austin...).
The special feature of this year’s program is that foreign students can completely participate in online training during this time. Three months later, students will directly participate in real projects at Viettel agencies and units.
With many travel activities, knowledge sharing and teambuilding, students will also have the opportunity to interact and connect with talented peers and seniors in the profession, along with the opportunity to become official employees of the group (about 50% of students have the opportunity to become official employees immediately after completing the program).
Coming to the leading technology playground in Vietnam, students will be able to develop and learn professional knowledge, unleash their creativity and master their ideas with Viettel's major projects. With the mission of finding talents for Viettel and "sowing" technology seeds for Vietnam, contributing to the digital transformation process to reach international standards.
“ The quality of training and the team of advisors gave me a lot of practical knowledge, and at the same time, working in a corporate environment like Viettel created great opportunities for me to develop myself, ” shared Vu Minh Thanh, Data Science & AI intern, Viettel Digital Talent 2022.
After 6 months of training and participating in real projects, Thanh won the program's biggest prize with his initiative on "Movie recommendation system for TV360 application based on VAE combining user information".
Thanh has joined the group and is currently a Data Science Engineer at Viettel Telecom Corporation.
With the main mission of pioneering digital creation and becoming a global technology corporation, Viettel is investing heavily to improve the quality of human resources by improving the working environment and increasing the attractiveness of the brand to talents in new technology fields.
