Vinarice – A journey of connection

Vinarice Vietnam Rice Company Limited is a member unit of Vinaseed Vietnam Seed Corporation. The corporation has the largest scale and market share in the Vietnamese seed industry, with an ecosystem comprising 31 member units that perfectly combine to create a colorful picture across the country.

Vinarice is determined to successfully build a high-quality rice value chain.

In 2019, Vinaseed invested in the Vinarice factory in Dong Thap province , the most modern seed and agricultural product processing industrial center in Vietnam. The total investment was 350 billion VND, with a processing capacity of 50,000 tons of seeds and 100,000 tons of rice per year.

Over its five-year journey from 2020 to the present, Vinarice has achieved proud accomplishments, made remarkable progress, gained the trust of partners and customers, and earned the love and confidence of farmers:

Over the 5-year period (2020-2024), the total output of seeds and agricultural products reached 280,000 tons. Total revenue: 3,520 billion VND. In 2024 alone, Vinarice's revenue exceeded 1,200 billion VND/year. Profit: 80 billion VND/year.

Research and successful transfer of high-quality rice varieties adapted to climate change serve farmers in the Mekong Delta. In particular, the famous Dai Thom 8 rice variety, which won second prize at the Vifotec Awards, currently contributes up to 30% of Vietnam's fragrant rice exports.

But that's not all. Born and raised amidst the beautiful natural scenery of the Mekong Delta, the people of Vinarice possess a deep love for the environment. Pursuing their greening goals, Vinarice is working day and night to research new crop varieties that are highly resistant to pests and diseases, and can grow and develop even in areas with harsh farming conditions and climates. They are also applying and transferring sustainable farming solutions.

By 2030, Vinarice aims to double its current size, becoming the top supplier of rice seeds and branded rice in the Mekong Delta, with a sales volume of 200,000 tons of rice seeds and rice per year, revenue of 3,000 billion VND per year, and profit of 180 billion VND per year. The company is determined to successfully build a high-quality rice value chain, engaging social forces in the supply chain to contribute to the restructuring of the Mekong Delta's rice industry. It remains committed to green and sustainable development, participating in building the "Green Rice – Low Emission" brand to elevate the image of Vietnamese rice.
