VinFast launches the new generation VF 8.

VinFast has officially announced the launch of its new generation D-segment electric SUV, the VF 8, featuring many groundbreaking upgrades in its technological platform.

The car measures 4,701 x 1,872 x 1,670 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm and a 5-seat configuration. The new generation VF 8 is developed on a completely new chassis, with a suspension system applying FSD adaptive damping technology on both the front and rear axles, capable of flexibly changing the stiffness/softness of the shock absorbers according to road conditions, effectively dampening vibrations when driving on rough roads and maintaining vehicle stability.

The new generation VF 8 is developed based on the "Tech Fluid" philosophy, with the overarching idea of ​​bringing the essence of technology to every detail.

The new generation VF 8 uses a 60.13 kWh battery pack, providing a driving range of up to 500 km (according to NEDC standards) on a single full charge. The vehicle supports fast charging technology, reaching 70% charge from 10% in less than 30 minutes. Notably, the car is equipped with an Integrated Thermal Management (ITM) system, researched, developed, and patented by VinFast. This system acts as the "heart and brain" of the vehicle's thermal management. It efficiently and intelligently coordinates cooling and heating for the battery, engine, electrical system, and cabin air conditioning. As a result, the car maintains stable performance, saves energy, supports fast charging, protects battery and engine lifespan, and ensures a comfortable cabin in all weather conditions.

In terms of safety, the new generation VF 8 is equipped with a comprehensive Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), featuring a range of modern functions, aiming to achieve a 5-star safety rating from ASEAN NCAP.

VinFast will officially begin accepting pre-orders for the new generation VF 8 through its website and authorized dealer network nationwide starting May 27th. The listed price is 999 million VND, with a 7-year or 160,000 km warranty for the vehicle and an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for the battery (whichever comes first).

Customers who place a deposit for the new generation VF 8 within the first 8 days (May 27 - June 3) will receive an additional discount of 51 million VND, in addition to the general incentives under VinFast's "Intense for a Green Future" program. The first new generation VF 8 vehicles are expected to be delivered to customers at the end of July.

As one of the models that laid the foundation for VinFast's transformation into a global all-electric car manufacturer, the VF 8 is the first model in the product range to be comprehensively upgraded in terms of design, technology, and features, bringing valuable improvements in operation and driving experience.

The interior of the new generation VF 8 is designed to be intuitive, harmonious, and ergonomic. At the heart of the horizontally slanted dashboard is a 12.9-inch central infotainment screen, offering sharp display and integrating most vehicle control features with a simple, easy-to-use interface.
