Honoring 220 outstanding workers and party members in the Coal industry

On the morning of July 11, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union organized the program "Glory to miners - Honoring outstanding workers who are typical Party members" with the theme "Confidently moving forward under the Party flag". This is a practical activity to welcome the 4th TKV Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress and celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.

The program honored 220 outstanding party members who are workers, team leaders, and direct laborers working at 65 grassroots unions. Of these, 95 individuals representing 220 outstanding party members who are workers were honored on stage, received symbols, and prizes of VND5 million each. In particular, many party members who are ethnic minorities, female workers, and newly recruited young party members were honored, demonstrating the spread of the emulation movement throughout the industry.

Through the program, TKV Trade Union continues to affirm its role in participating in Party building, developing Party members as direct workers - the core force of the Group. During the 2018-2023 term, the whole industry introduced 6,751 outstanding union members, admitting 5,570 people to the Party. From 2024 to present, there have been 1,260 more workers joining the Communist Party of Vietnam .

“Glory of the Miners” is not only an occasion to honor outstanding party members, but also to add confidence and arouse pride in each miner - the pioneers under the Party flag in the new era.
