Author Tran Thi My Huyen submitted her video " Vinh Long : The Scent of Crafts, the Colors of the Land " to the " Happy Vietnam 2025 " competition . Location of creation: Vinh Long, Vinh Long Province, Vietnam.
Introduction: “Vinh Long: The Scent of Crafts, the Beauty of the Land” was chosen with the desire to contribute to raising community awareness about the value of traditional craft villages. Through the application of multimedia, the project will introduce authentic and vivid images of the red pottery craft of Mang Thit, the rice paper making craft of Cu Lao May, and the mat weaving craft of Vung Liem. From there, the project aims to promote and attract tourists and contribute to the development of craft village tourism in Vinh Long, especially in the period of 2025 when the province will strengthen its cultural tourism development strategy. From skillful hands, clay is transformed into vibrant red pottery, flexible reeds are gradually woven into mats imbued with the soul of the countryside, and a thin layer of white powder creates the characteristic rice paper... Each product contains a cultural story, a craft village that needs to be preserved. Join Huyen as she strolls through the traditional craft villages of Vinh Long – where time stands still in every detail of the craftsmanship, and culture remains intact through every rhythm of life.
