Author Tran Thi My Huyen submitted to the " Happy Vietnam 2025 " contest with the video work " Vinh Long : Fragrance of the profession, color of the land ". Location of creation: Vinh Long, Vinh Long, Vietnam.
Introduction: “Vinh Long: Fragrance of craft, color of land” was chosen with the desire to contribute to raising public awareness of the value of traditional craft villages. Through the application of multimedia communication, the topic will introduce realistic and vivid images of Mang Thit red pottery, Cu Lao May rice paper making and Vung Liem mat weaving. From there, the topic aims to promote, attract tourists and contribute to the development of craft village tourism in Vinh Long, especially in the period of 2025 when the province promotes the strategy of developing cultural tourism. From talented hands, clay suddenly turns into brilliant red pottery, flexible bamboo strings are gradually woven into mats imbued with the soul of the countryside, and a thin layer of white powder gently creates a typical rice paper... Each product contains a cultural story, a craft village that needs to be preserved. Follow Huyen as she walks through the traditional craft villages of Vinh Long – where time stands still in every handmade detail, and culture remains intact through every beat of life.
