VN-Index regains green thanks to the pull from real estate stocks

On September 29, the Vietnamese stock market had mixed developments. Despite strong selling pressure from foreign investors and the overwhelming number of stocks falling in price, the VN-Index still increased by 5.78 points to 932.83 points thanks to support from pillar stocks, especially real estate stocks.

Market liquidity decreased compared to the previous session, with total trading volume on the three floors reaching more than 1,044 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND29,318 billion.

Foreign investors continued to net sell on all 3 floors more than 813 billion VND, focusing on codes SSI (174.67 billion VND), DIG (138.26 billion VND), VNM (114.61 billion VND), DXG (88.47 billion VND), MBB (81.07 billion VND)...

On the contrary, the stocks with the most net purchases in this session included VPB (114.08 billion VND), GEX (110.28 billion VND), TAL (53.04 billion VND), TCB (47.01 billion VND), GMD (40.28 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased compared to the previous session, reaching more than VND 23,381 billion.

In this session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increasing by more than 15.19 points included: VIC, VHM, VPB, GEE, HDB, GEX, CTG, VRE, HAG, VPI.

On the contrary, the codes that negatively impacted the VN-Index by more than 4.78 points include: FPT, VCB, HVN, BSR,SHB , BID, VNM, VJC, MWG, GVR.

The group of securities stocks performed positively, increasing by 0.06%, mainly from codes VIX, VCI, SHS, HCM, MBS, BSI, CTS, E1VFVN30, DSC... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included SSI, VND, FUEVFVND, FTS, VDS, ORS, AGR, AAS, VFS, TCI...

Banking stocks were mixed this session, with an increase of 0.01%, mainly from codes TCB, CTG, VPB, HDB, STB, TPB, MSB, OCB... A few codes decreased including VCB, BID, MBB, LPB,ACB , SHB, VIB, EIB, NAB...

The real estate stock group this session recorded an increase of 2.24%, mainly from codes VIC, VHM, VRE, KSF, TCH, VPI, NLG, TAL... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included BCM, KDH, KBC, SSH, PDR, DXG, DIG, CEO, SIP, IDC, VCR...

Energy stocks traded mainly in red and closed down 1.09%, mainly from codes BSR, PLX, PVS, OIL, MVB, PVP, VTO, PVC... Some codes increased including PVB, POS, AAH, TVD, VTV, PMS, PJT, PEQ...

The group of raw material stocks this session recorded a decrease of 0.48%, mainly from codes GVR, DGC, MSR, DPM, HSG, NTP, NKG, VCS, PHR, HT1, TVN... On the contrary, the codes that increased included HPG, KSV, DCM, RTB, LIC, PLC, MTA, LBM, DRG...

* The Vietnam stock market index today had mixed movements, VNXALL-Index closed up 9.39 points (+0.33%), to 2,868.15 points. Liquidity with a trading volume of more than 960.05 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 27,886 billion. In the whole market, there were 110 stocks increasing in price, 76 stocks remaining unchanged and 263 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 275.15 points, down 0.91 points (-0.33%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 79.64 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 1,796.74 billion. In the whole market, there were 58 stocks increasing in price, 56 stocks remaining unchanged and 98 stocks decreasing in price.

The HNX30 index closed down 3.39 points (-0.56%) to 598.14 points. Trading volume reached over 58.21 million units, equivalent to over VND1,512.43 billion. In the whole market, there were 11 stocks increasing in price, 4 stocks remaining unchanged and 15 stocks decreasing in price.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 109.29 points, down 1.34 points (-1.21%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached over 31.53 million shares, corresponding trading value reached over 456.63 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 106 stocks increasing in price, 90 stocks remaining unchanged and 125 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 5.78 points (+0.35%) to 932.83 points. Liquidity reached over 932.83 million units, equivalent to a trading value of over VND27,065.37 billion. The entire floor had 86 stocks increasing, 55 stocks remaining unchanged and 233 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 9.58 points (+0.52%) and stopped at 1,862.23 points. Liquidity reached more than 364.36 million units, equivalent to a transaction value of more than VND 13,256.16 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 10 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 18 stocks decreasing.
