On the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, opening the session, continuing the previous day's upward momentum, the VN-Index was green, at times increasing by more than 11 points, to more than 1,523 points. However, after reaching the above high, strong selling pressure caused the market to lose momentum. By lunchtime, the VN-Index stopped at 1,513.21 points, up 0.9 points.
In the afternoon session, the market initially fluctuated quite strongly, the index representing the floor was red, close to 1,504 points. From nearly 2:00 p.m. onwards, the strong cash flow into the market helped the VN-Index increase again. At the end of the session, the VN-Index stopped at 1,521.02 points, up 8.71 points (0.58%); the VN30-Index reached 1,661.23 points after "increasing" 8.22 points (0.5%).

Strong support for the market is banking stocks. In the 10 codes contributing the most to the VN-Index, this group has 5 codes: MBB, HDB, OCB, VIB, SHB , with a total of about 3.5 points, in which MBB contributes the most to the market with nearly 1.5 points.
VIC contributed 0.9 points after yesterday's session. Transport stock VJC continued to perform positively, contributing nearly 0.7 points.
The industry groups with the highest growth rates were energy and industrial goods.
Essential aviation, consumer services, raw materials, software and services, media and entertainment are the sectors that are going against the market.
On the electronic trading board, stocks with increasing prices dominated. The entire floor had 184 stocks increasing and 131 stocks decreasing. In the VN30 group, the number of stocks increasing and decreasing in price was 22 stocks and 6 stocks, respectively.
Liquidity continued to be high. Total trading value reached nearly 37,000 billion VND. If yesterday there were 5 codes with a trading volume of over 1,000 billion VND, today there were 7 codes. Banking stocks attracted cash flow. Of which, HDB led in liquidity with nearly 1,410 billion VND changed hands; followed by SHB (over 1,400 billion VND), SSI (1,373 billion VND), HPG (1,355 billion VND), MSN (1,256 billion VND), MBB (1,124 billion VND), VPB (1,109 billion VND).
Foreign investors traded strongly. This group bought nearly 5,105 billion VND and sold over 5,305 billion VND.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, at market close, the HNX-Index stopped at 250.67 points, up 1.34 points (0.54%); the HNX30-Index increased 4 points (0.76%), to 532.68 points. The total transaction value reached nearly 2,600 billion VND.
