VN-Index continues to increase despite net selling pressure from foreign investors

On September 25, the stock market closed with green as the dominant color on all exchanges. At the end of the session, VN-Index increased by 8.63 points, reaching 1,666.09 points. However, foreign investors continued to net sell for the 13th consecutive session, with a total of more than VND 2,263 billion on all 3 exchanges.

Market liquidity increased compared to yesterday's session, with total trading volume on the three floors reaching more than 1,127 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND30,346 billion.

Foreign investors continued to net sell for the 13th consecutive session on all 3 floors, with a net selling value of more than VND2,263 billion, focusing on codes VPB (VND261.34 billion),FPT (VND227.84 billion), SSI (VND212.83 billion), KBC (VND171.86 billion), VHM (VND148.59 billion)...

On the contrary, the stocks with the most net purchases in this session included VIC (103.3 billion VND), CII (65.19 billion VND), TCB (63.61 billion VND), GMD (38.29 billion VND), HHV (33.93 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session decreased compared to the previous session, reaching more than VND 24,955 billion.

This session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increasing by 12.83 points included: VIC, VHM, BSR , VCB, LPB, VJC, CII, HDB, VRE, GEX.

On the contrary, the codes that negatively impacted the VN-Index by 4.73 points included: VPB, FPT, BID, MBB, HPG,ACB , HVN, VIB, CTG, MSN.

The VN30 Index increased by 2.43 points (+0.4%) to 1,858.67 points. Liquidity reached more than 332.93 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 11,893.5 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 12 stocks increasing, 1 stock remaining unchanged and 17 stocks decreasing.
