VNPT Cloud has been recognized with two technology awards.

VTV.vn - VNPT Cloud announced that it has received two awards from two different evaluation systems: the IT industry award and the award for achievements impacting Vietnam's digital transformation.

On May 28, 2026, VNPT Cloud, a subsidiary of VNPT-IT, Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), was honored as one of the Top 10 Sao Khue 2026 award winners and received certification on the Vietnam Digital Technology Solutions Map. Two days later, on May 30, 2026, VNPT Cloud's Platform was further recognized at the Viet Nam I4 Impact Awards 2026 in the category of Outstanding Digital Platform - I4 Digital Platform Excellence.

The two programs differ in their approach. Sao Khue is a long-standing award, established in 2003, organized by VINASA (Vietnam Software and IT Services Association) to select and recognize outstanding products and services in the software and IT services industry. Meanwhile, the Viet Nam I4 Impact Awards aims to celebrate achievements that create impact for science and technology , innovation, and national digital transformation.

Sao Khue: A measure of maturity

The Sao Khue 2026 evaluation process has undergone several changes compared to previous years. According to the organizers, this year's version is based on 8 industry groups and 32 key areas of the digital economy , along with a 3-axis model and product maturity levels, equivalent to international evaluation models currently in use.

For VNPT Cloud, the Top 10 Sao Khue 2026 award is not simply a recognition of achievement. In the context of an increasingly competitive cloud industry, the inclusion of a cloud ecosystem in the group of outstanding solutions demonstrates that this product has passed evaluation rounds regarding technology, operational capabilities, and market responsiveness.

VNPT Cloud is currently being developed as a comprehensive cloud computing ecosystem, comprising infrastructure services, platforms, and tools to support the operation of digital applications.

It's worth noting that the cloud needs of businesses have changed quite rapidly in recent years. Cloud is no longer seen as simply a place to "rent additional servers" when resources are lacking, but is gradually becoming the default platform for deploying applications, managing data, operating, and testing new business models.

Within that framework, VNPT Cloud chose to develop from the existing telecommunications and IT infrastructure of the VNPT Group, while gradually perfecting cloud service layers to meet the needs of the domestic market.

While the Sao Khue Awards focus heavily on the capabilities and maturity of the products, the Viet Nam I4 Impact Awards offer a different perspective: what impact technology is having on Vietnam's digital landscape.

According to information from VIDTI (Institute for Innovation and Digital Transformation, under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, Ministry of Science and Technology), the organizer of the Viet Nam I4 Impact Awards 2026, the program aims to promote the development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation nationwide; and to recognize organizations and individuals who are pioneers in applying new technologies and creating practical value for the socio-economic development.

In the I4 Digital Platform Excellence category, VNPT Cloud's Platform as a Service (PaaS) was recognized for its impactful achievements in Vietnam's digital landscape. This group of services is positioned above traditional cloud infrastructure, providing businesses with an environment for developing, operating, and scaling applications without having to handle the entire complexity of the underlying infrastructure themselves.

For many businesses, the digital transformation challenge often doesn't begin with a lack of ideas, but rather with the gap between ideas and implementation capabilities. A digital product needs a testing environment, deployment systems, monitoring mechanisms, and more to become operational.
