VTV has a new General Director.

Kinhtedothi - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1311/QD-TTg dated November 1, 2024, transferring and appointing Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, to the position of Director General of Vietnam Television.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam holds the position of Director General of Vietnam Television.

The term of appointment is 5 years. The decision takes effect from November 1, 2024.

Previously, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Director General of Vietnam Television - was transferred and assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
