Press conference to announce the TV program "Anti-Fraud - Protect Users"
The current commodity market is facing a widespread problem of counterfeit, fake and poor quality goods in many areas. The popularity of online sales channels, social networking platforms and traditional markets makes it increasingly difficult for consumers to distinguish between real and fake. Meanwhile, the legal corridor and inspection and control work in some localities are still limited, leading to infringing goods still reaching consumers through unofficial channels.
The negative impacts go beyond financial losses to serious public health impacts, undermine market confidence, and destabilize the competitive environment. Substandard goods seeping into everyday life are eroding consumer standards and undermining the values of a transparent economy .
In that context, the TV program "Anti-fraud - Protecting users" was initiated as a public and practical communication tool, helping people understand the nature of goods circulating in the market, be proactive in their choice behavior and become part of the smart consumer ecosystem.
The program aims to become a media platform that accompanies government agencies, genuine businesses and people in their efforts to re-establish standards for the goods market in Vietnam. Through television - an effective and reliable mass outreach channel - the program contributes to filling the information gap, connecting policies with consumer practices and honestly reflecting the desires, concerns and expectations of the people.
The program "Anti-Fraud - User Protection" will officially air at 5:10 pm every Friday on VTV1 - Vietnam Television. Each episode lasts 10 minutes and will be produced continuously throughout 2025 with a total of 52 episodes. This is a carefully selected time slot to suit the viewing habits of a large audience in both urban and rural areas, consumers and managers.
In addition to national television, the program will be simultaneously posted on VTV's digital platforms including VTVGo, YouTube VTV24 and official online fanpages. This helps expand the reach to digital users, especially young, digital consumers with modern consumer behavior.
