The German national team has sacked coach Hansi Flick after five consecutive games without a win. The 1-4 loss to Japan was the last straw that led to this decision.
In the first match under the leadership of interim coach Eodi Volller, the Tank defeated the 2022 World Cup runners-up France 2-1. Thomas Muller and Leroy Sane were the two players who scored. Meanwhile, Antoine Griezmann scored to reduce the score for the visitors.
