In the special art program Connecting Vietnamese - American Melodies, the famous Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra (USA) under the command of conductor Henry Cheng and 45 musicians brought to the Vietnamese audience a musical space full of symphonic qualities.

13-year-old opera singer Duong Duc Hai surprised the audience when he sang with the famous Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra (USA).

This is a rare occasion for Vietnamese audiences to welcome this famous symphony orchestra, especially the appearance of pianist Maxim Lando, along with famous artists such as Tung Duong, Mikaela Ayira - 17-year-old singer - Top 5 The Voice USA, and 13-year-old opera singer Duong Duc Hai,...

Despite his young age, Duong Duc Hai has shown the poise and confidence of a true opera artist. Mamma – the Italian classic composed by Cesare Andrea Bixio, with lyrics by Bruno Cherubini, was performed with great emotion by Duong Duc Hai. He maintained his innocence and purity but still contained his deep love for his mother.

Sharing his feelings after the performance, Duong Duc Hai said: " I am very honored to be able to perform in this program. I chose the song Mamma to perform, both to serve the audience, but also as a gift I want to send to my mother, because she has always taken care of and loved me.

I also want to send this gift to my teachers, whom I consider my mothers, on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20th."

The two voices blended together smoothly, pushing the audience's emotions to a climax, creating a strong impression on the audience present.

Duong Duc Hai was born in 2012 and is currently a student at Nam Tu Liem Secondary School. Duong Duc Hai has made his mark with many impressive achievements: winning First Prize in the Festival category and Special Prize in the Competition category, representing Vietnam at the TSP International Arts Festival in Shanghai (China) and excellently winning the Gold Medal.
