Located in the middle of the vast plains of the Southeast, Ba Den Mountain has long been a symbol of Tay Ninh land. With a height of 986 m - known as the "roof of the South", this lonely mountain not only attracts tourists by its majestic beauty but also by its sacred legendary stories that have been deeply rooted in the cultural life of the residents here.
Every year, millions of people set foot on Ba Den Mountain, to make a pilgrimage, to explore , to find a feeling of relaxation among the clouds, or to challenge themselves on the journey to conquer the peak.

On the top of Ba Den Mountain, there is a statue of Buddha Tay Bo Da Son and a statue of Buddha Maitreya.
From afar, Ba Den Mountain stands out like an exclamation mark on the vast sky of the Southeast region. Amidst the flat fields, the mountain towers up, creating a landscape highlight that cannot be mistaken for any other place. At each time of the day, Ba Den Mountain has its own beauty: in the morning it is covered with white clouds, at noon it is filled with sunlight, in the afternoon it is covered in a warm yellow color, and at night it is shimmering with lights from the pagoda area and the tourist area at the foot of the mountain.
Nature has blessed this place with lush green vegetation, a pleasant climate and a unique cave system scattered throughout the mountainside. Thanks to that, the landscape of Ba Den Mountain always creates a mysterious yet close and familiar feeling. That is also the reason why this place is considered by the people as a "sacred mountain", a place to entrust spiritual beliefs and wishes for peace and luck.
For mountaineering enthusiasts, the journey to conquer Ba Den Mountain is a memorable experience. The mountain is nearly 1,000 m high but has rugged, sometimes vertical rocky terrain, making the climb both arduous and fascinating.
There are many routes to choose from, each with its own beauty and challenges: The Temple Route is the gentlest route, suitable for beginners. The road runs along the mountainside, has clear steps, many stops and spiritual structures to visit.
The power line is a favorite choice for those who like challenges. This route is constantly steep, interspersed with large rocks that must be held by hand to overcome. However, in return, the wild mountain scenery and beautiful views down to the plains are always worthy rewards.
Ma Thien Lanh Road is the most difficult climbing route, crossing the wild mountains with many steep slopes and complex terrain. This route is for experienced and physically well-prepared people.

Ba Den Mountain is also an ideal "cloud hunting" spot.
No matter which route you choose, the feeling of reaching the top of the mountain is always an overwhelming moment. Before your eyes opens up a vast space: in the distance is the blue Dau Tieng Lake, sugarcane fields, rice fields and the miniature Tay Ninh city below. The strong wind on the top of the mountain blows away all fatigue, leaving behind an indescribable pride and serenity.
Not everyone can climb the mountain for hours, and the weather is not always favorable for climbing. Therefore, the appearance of the modern cable car system opens up the opportunity for all visitors to admire the beauty of Ba Den mountain from a completely different perspective.
The cable car takes visitors through the clouds, gliding over the vast green forests. In just a few minutes, you can reach the Hang Pagoda area or straight to the top of the mountain. Sitting in the glass cabin, visitors can admire the picturesque natural scenery - a feeling that is both relaxing and impressive. This is also an ideal way to visit for families, the elderly or those who want to enjoy the mountain space without too much movement.
When talking about Ba Den Mountain, we cannot help but mention the legendary stories associated with Ba Den – a filial, loyal and steadfast girl. From that legend, people built temples and pagodas to worship her, turning Ba Den Mountain into one of the famous religious centers of the South.
The foot of the mountain is home to Ba Pagoda (Linh Son Tien Thach Tu) - a famous and sacred pagoda that attracts millions of pilgrims every year. Next to it are Hang Pagoda, Linh Son Long Chau Pagoda and many other spiritual structures that create a unique architectural complex. During Tet and spring festivals, the atmosphere here is bustling with people coming to burn incense and pray for peace and fortune.
What is special is that whether crowded or deserted, Ba Den Mountain always maintains a solemn and peaceful feeling. Amidst the sound of temple bells, the sound of wind blowing through the forest and the lingering smoke of incense, visitors can easily find peace after busy days.
In recent years, Ba Den Mountain has been heavily invested to become a large-scale tourism - cultural - spiritual - entertainment complex in the Southeast region. Not only does it have cable cars, it also has squares, flower gardens, and a 72-meter-high statue of Buddha Tay Bo Da Son on the top of the mountain - the most impressive spiritual work.
At the foot of the mountain, the Ba Den Mountain tourist area is well planned with a system of services, restaurants, check-in areas and art performance spaces, serving visitors from morning to night. On major holidays, there are also special art programs, light shows and cultural events typical of Tay Ninh.
The harmonious combination of nature, spirituality and modern services makes Ba Den Mountain a suitable destination for many people: young people who love to conquer, families who love to travel, the elderly looking for a place of pilgrimage, and those who want to find a peaceful place between the mountains and sky.
