Cam Pha mining area learns and follows Uncle Ho

Implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW (dated May 18, 2021) of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, Cam Pha City has seriously, methodically and practically implemented it with many creative methods.

Always keeping in mind Uncle Ho's teachings "Our nation is a nation rich in charity", "No matter how small, we must do good deeds", Ms. Bui Thi Hong, an English teacher at Le Quy Don High School (Cam Pha City) has been persistently doing charity work for over 20 years. From the model "Connecting hearts - Sharing the community", in 2012, the charity group "Beloved Quang Ninh" with her as the group leader was established, and has now become a club with more than 1,000 members. Thanks to that, the activities are increasingly profound, effective and have a wider spread.

From 2021 to now, teacher Bui Thi Hong alone has mobilized about 1.5 billion VND in cash to promptly help many difficult circumstances in the province and some other localities... In particular, connecting many subjects, organizations, unions, businesses... to participate is a highlight of the model, thereby helping hundreds of difficult lives. Teacher Hong's model of learning and following Uncle Ho has been recognized at the city and provincial levels and Ms. Hong has become a shining example of a party member, teacher, dedicated to the cause of educating people and community activities.

Cam Pha City Party Committee summarizes 3 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo and Directive No. 16-CT/TU dated September 15, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle (April 2024).

Not only teacher Bui Thi Hong, in 2024, agencies, units and localities in Cam Pha registered to build 110 models, 35 typical examples at the city level to learn and follow Uncle Ho. Among them, there are 21 models, 11 typical examples at the provincial level. These include: Quang Hanh Ward Women's Union learns and follows Uncle Ho to do a good job of environmental sanitation in residential areas with the goal of mobilizing 100% of households to classify waste at home and prevent plastic waste, and to dump garbage on time and according to regulations; Mong Duong Thermal Power Company practices thrift and combats waste according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style with the goal of reducing the rate of self-consumption of electricity of the factory compared to 2023; Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell of Village 2 (Cam Hai Commune) Nguyen Thi Huyen teaches English to teenagers in the area; Mong Duong Ward Party Secretary Nguyen Thai Binh is determined in leading and directing the implementation of the most effective model and tasks to overcome difficulties for the ward's ethnic minorities by directing and mobilizing socialization to complete the construction of Khe Lap spillway bridge, and pouring over 700m of concrete road into the area of 11 households in group 6, zone 10...

To deepen the activities, the branches and Party Committees in the city have proactively organized thematic study on "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on building Vietnamese culture and people, especially on Party culture and revolutionary ethics in the new situation". In regular monthly meetings, the branches and Party Committees actively disseminate and raise awareness among cadres, Party members, civil servants and public employees on building and promoting culture and human strength to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable development according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style through specific and practical actions, meeting the requirements of building culture.

In addition, the city also actively implements the revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new situation, associated with promoting and enhancing the values of the unique characteristics of Cam Pha people with virtue, talent, health, beauty, loyalty, cultural identity, indomitable tradition, resilience, discipline and unity. At the same time, promote emulation movements, replicate advanced models and typical examples of learning and following Uncle Ho; organize activities to return to the source, especially at the relic site commemorating Uncle Ho's visit to Deo Nai mine.

In order to strengthen research, teaching, education and training on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style, the City's Political Training Center has updated the content on learning and following Uncle Ho into the program of training awareness about the Party, training political theory for new party members, and organizing field trips to historical sites. Cam Pha City Youth Union has promoted the dissemination of 5 theoretical lessons for young people. Educational institutions in the area have included documents about Uncle Ho and lessons on ethics and lifestyle for students in teaching, effectively implementing the program of strengthening education on revolutionary ideals, ethics, lifestyle and arousing the desire to contribute to youth, teenagers and children, period 2021-2030... Thereby continuing to create motivation, promoting more strongly the will and aspirations of the Party Committee, government and people of Cam Pha City to strive to overcome difficulties, building the locality to become more and more prosperous as beloved Uncle Ho always wished.
