Vung Tau organizes many activities to celebrate April 30 and May 1

Mr. Phan Trong Hanh, Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Vung Tau City, said that to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and International Labor Day on May 1, the city will organize a series of diverse activities.

Specifically, at the end of April, Vung Tau City will organize a thematic talk, display books in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day on April 21 and provide mobile services to schools in the city.

The city will organize a painting contest for primary and secondary school students with the theme: "Vung Tau, my homeland" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

Next, on April 6, Vung Tau City is expected to organize the Hai Dang Mountain Hiking Festival and launch the Olympic Running Day for the health of the people in 2025, with the participation of about 12,000 people. On April 6 and 7, activities will take place to celebrate the Hung Kings' death anniversary in Vung Tau City in 2025.

In particular, every night from April 29 to May 2, at Tam Giac Bai Truoc Park, there will be art programs with various forms such as: Fashion shows, circus, magic, singing and dancing, modern dance, lion - unicorn - dragon performances to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere for people and tourists during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
