Princess Kate turned 42 on January 9th, receiving congratulations from her parents-in-law and fans.
"Happy birthday to the Princess of Wales today," the British royal family's social media account representing King Charles and Queen Camilla posted on January 9th, along with a previously unreleased photo of Kate Middleton.

Fans also sent birthday wishes to Kate in the comments. "Happy birthday, Princess of Wales, have a wonderful day," one person wrote. "Beautiful picture, I love it," another wrote.
Westminster Abbey also shared photos of Kate attending a Christmas concert in London last month to celebrate her birthday, and rang bells in celebration.
