On the morning of June 27, at the examination site of Me Tri Secondary School (Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi), a male candidate attracted much attention when his family and medical staff carried him to the examination room on a stretcher. It is known that he had just had a traffic accident but was still determined to take the exam (Photo: Thanh Dong).

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tham, parent of Nguyen Trung Kien (Minh Khai, Bac Tu Liem district), said that his son is a student at Hanoi High School for Gifted Sports , pursuing freestyle wrestling. On the afternoon of June 26, after finishing the math exam, on his way home, Kien was hit from behind by a car in the area of Le Quang Dao street (Nam Tu Liem), causing him to suffer a cervical spine injury, a broken first rib and pleural effusion. He was taken to the emergency room immediately afterwards (Photo: Thanh Dong).

In order to attend the final exam in the high school graduation exam, the family completed the procedure to ask the hospital to temporarily let Kien leave the hospital to go to the exam site. Mr. Tham shared: "At exactly 5 o'clock, even though we knew he was in a lot of pain, because he wanted to take the exam, the family tried to take him to school according to his wishes" (Photo: Thanh Dong).

After about 2 hours of waiting outside the exam site, when the two optional exams were over, Mr. Tham continued to pick up his son on a stretcher. During the entire exam period, Kien always received enthusiastic support from the invigilators at the exam site to ensure that he could complete the exam in his special health conditions (Photo: Thanh Dong).

When picking up his son at the exam room door, Mr. Tham could not help but feel heartbroken when he saw that his son was still in pain. He was worried because he did not know if his son would be able to complete the exam well in his health condition (Photo: Thanh Dong).

Trung Kien chose the last two subjects in the high school graduation exam to graduate and plans to apply to Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports to continue pursuing his passion for sports. Mr. Tham hopes that his son will overcome the incident and have enough determination to realize his dream (Photo: Thanh Dong).

The ambulance took Kien back to the hospital amid emotional applause from volunteers (Photo: Thanh Dong).

At the same time, at the Tran Nhan Tong High School (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi) exam site, at exactly 9:30 a.m., the drum sounded to signal the end of the exam. Candidates submitted their papers one by one, left the exam room and walked out of the school gate with a range of emotions (Photo: Manh Quan).

Excited and worried, the eyes of relatives watching from outside the school gate seemed to want to embrace their children's footsteps.
“From the time my child took the first exam until the last exam today, I have been nervous and worried. I just hope my child can stay relaxed and do well on the test. At this point, no matter what the result is, I just hope my child will have a real break after months of hard study. My child has tried very hard, and that makes me proud," a parent shared (Photo: Manh Quan).

Many candidates commented that this year's exam was not too challenging and followed the review program closely. For those who are diligent and have a solid grasp of basic knowledge, achieving a score of 7 or 8 is completely within reach (Photo: Manh Quan).

Student Nguyen Phuong Anh (Dong Do High School): "I feel that this year's geography exam is quite suitable for me, but the history exam has many tricky questions, I am confident that I will get about 9.5 points. This year, I have placed NV1 at the People's Police Academy" (Photo: Minh Quan).
