Weather today (June 28): Heavy rain in the North

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting forecasts that today (June 28), the Northern region will have widespread rain, with moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of about 30-60mm, locally over 150mm. Heavy rain in the North is likely to last until July 2.

Northeast: Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; in the Viet Bac region, moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain; Southeast to South wind level 2-3; in thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind; temperature 23-32 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi Capital: Cloudy, occasional showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; Southeast to South wind level 2-3; in thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind; temperature 24-31 degrees Celsius.

Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue: Cloudy, Thanh Hoa - Nghe An has scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; sunny days, hot in some places; light wind; in thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind; temperature 25-35 degrees Celsius.

Area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan: Cloudy, sunny during the day, hot in some places; West to Southwest wind level 2-3; temperature 25-35 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands: Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms; Southwest wind level 2-3; thunderstorms with possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts; temperature 20-30 degrees Celsius.

Southern region: Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms; southwest wind level 2-3; thunderstorms with possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts; temperature 24-33 degrees Celsius.

Hoang Sa archipelago (Da Nang): Showers and thunderstorms in some places; visibility over 10km; South to Southeast wind level 4; waves 0.5-1.5m high.

Truong Sa archipelago (Khanh Hoa): Scattered showers and thunderstorms; in thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind level 6-7; visibility is over 10km, decreasing to 4-10km in the rain; southwest wind level 4-5; waves 1-2m high.
