At the same time, advise on the proposal to build a dossier to request UNESCO to recognize the archaeological complex of Roc Tung - Go Da, An Khe old stone as a world heritage.

Along with that, Gia Lai province assigned the Department of Science and Technology to preside over the implementation of tasks related to research activities at this relic.

Contact units under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, and the Institute of Archaeology for guidance on developing research content. Invite domestic and foreign scientists to participate in consulting and supporting the implementation of the task.

It is known that at the end of 2022, the Prime Minister decided to rank the Roc Tung - Go Da archaeological site as a special national relic. The hand axe set found at this relic is recognized as a national treasure.

Regarding this relic, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to develop a comprehensive research program for the archaeological relic of Roc Tung - Go Da and An Khe old stone.

The Roc Tung - Go Da relic was first discovered in 2014. From this discovery, the Institute of Archaeology has implemented a research project and discovered 5 Paleolithic relics in An Khe.

In 2015, Vietnamese and Russian archaeologists excavated Go Da and Roc Tung I in Xuan An commune, An Khe town (old).

Through excavation, vestiges of primitive human culture were discovered here and thousands of stone relics were collected with various types such as: pointed tools, two-sided hammering tools, rough chopping tools, triangular pointed tools, and four-handed axes.

Isotope analysis and geological dating by the Russian Academy of Sciences show that the age of the Go Da relic is about 806,000 years ago and Roc Tung I is about 782,000 years ago.

This discovery shows that the An Khe area is one of the places that preserves cultural traces of Homo erectus, the ancestor of mankind.
