Youth Union of Petroleum Service Port Company and the 2025 "Summer Experience" Program for children of employees

Caring for, encouraging and organizing summer tours and activities for children of employees is a fine tradition of PTSC Corporation in general and of Petroleum Service Port Company in particular. This is not only an opportunity for children to have fun and relax after a year of hard study, but also an opportunity to practice skills, expand knowledge and form positive life values. Continuing that tradition, on August 10, 2025, the Youth Union of Petroleum Service Port Company successfully organized the "Childhood Farm" experience program for children of the Company's employees. This is an extracurricular activity designed for children to both learn and play, with useful experiences to explore farming - a traditional profession that has long been associated with Vietnamese people's lives.

With the theme “Childhood Farm”, the program took place at the Green Life Farm (Dong Nai province) – a truly experimental educational space, where students can see with their own eyes, work with their own hands and directly experience the life of a farmer. The closed farm model here has all kinds of agricultural products: leafy vegetables, fruit vegetables, food crops, fruit trees, livestock, poultry, etc. When wearing the typical Southern Vietnamese traditional Vietnamese traditional Vietnamese traditional dress, the children transformed into real “little farmers”, enthusiastically participating in taking care of pigs, chickens, ducks, ostriches, sheep, rabbits, etc. Not only that, folk games such as rice planting, fish catching, and vegetable harvesting also brought laughter and excitement to all participants. Each experience is a valuable lesson. The children get to sow seeds with their own hands, feel the aroma of rice, the harsh sunlight in the fields, the fatigue of catching fish in the ditches... From there, they understand more about the hardships of farmers, appreciate more their own labor and the fruits of their labor as well as that of others.



The atmosphere that day was always bustling with laughter, interspersed with moments of serious concentration when the "little farmers" were guided through new tasks. The activities brought the children together as a group, helped them train their physical strength, fostered a spirit of solidarity, and opened up an interesting "farming world " right in the middle of summer vacation. At the end of the program, many eyes were still lingering when leaving the farm. The memories of "a day as a farmer" will become spiritual baggage, adding positive energy to the children before the new school year - just as the Organizing Committee wished: to bring a meaningful summer, rich in experiences and full of love.
