Many universities announce early admission scores

At the latest, universities will announce the first round of admission scores by 5:00 p.m. on August 22, but many schools will announce them early, right after completing the virtual filtering process.

The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and training institutions are entering the final stage of the 2025 university admission application processing process. All "virtual filtering" steps are carried out on the Ministry's common system to ensure that each candidate is only admitted to one application, in the highest order.

According to the plan, the final processing results will be downloaded at 4:30 p.m. on August 20. Immediately after this time, many universities will announce the first round of benchmark scores, earlier than the latest deadline of 5 p.m. on August 22 as prescribed.

List of schools expected to be announced soon

August 20: Hanoi University of Science and Technology; University of Science and Technology – VNU-HCM; University of Economics and Law – VNU-HCM; National Economics University (August 20-22); Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade; University of Electricity; Hanoi Open University (at the latest on the morning of August 21); Vietnam Women's Academy; University of Transport Technology; CMC University Hanoi; Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH); Van Lang University; University of Economics and Industrial Technology; Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education (afternoon/evening).

August 21: University of Transport; Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry; Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF).

August 22: University of Finance - Marketing; Banking Academy.

Virtual filtering process and important milestones

From August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 20, schools uploaded candidates' admission data to the system, including high school graduation exam scores, competency assessment exam scores, academic records, etc. From August 17, the system conducted virtual filtering 6 times. By 5:00 p.m. on August 20, schools entered the benchmark scores and admission lists into the common system.

Immediately after that, some schools such as Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, University of Economics and Law... will announce the admission scores on the afternoon of August 20. Other schools are expected to announce the results on August 21 or the morning of August 22.

Confirm admission before August 30

All candidates admitted in the first round must confirm their admission online on the Ministry's system before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, 2025. If they do not do so on time, their admission results will be canceled.

After the first round, schools with remaining enrollment quotas will consider additional enrollment from September 1 to the end of December 2025. However, candidates who have confirmed enrollment in the first round will not be eligible to participate in the additional enrollment.

The Ministry of Education and Training recommends that candidates regularly monitor school websites and admission systems to update accurate information, avoiding missing the time to announce benchmark scores and confirm admission.
