The event aims to develop sustainable tourism, not only based on economic benefits but also in harmony with cultural, social and environmental values.
Besides, this is also an opportunity to encourage the creation of new products and services to meet the diverse needs of domestic and foreign markets.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism - said that not only the Department of Tourism but all partners and accompanying units share the same goal of turning this year's Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair into an attractive international cooperation event, contributing to affirming the Vietnamese tourism brand.
According to her, this year's international buyer program is not only expanding in scale but also carefully selected, targeting potential markets, in line with the orientation of attracting high-quality, high-spending customers.
"This year, we continue to inherit and promote the achievements when last year's Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Fair was honored by the World Travel Awards as "Asia's Leading Travel Trade Event". This is a great source of encouragement for units to continue their efforts," she said.
This year, the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair will take place in parallel with the TPO Conference (Tourism Promotion Organization for Asia-Pacific Cities). Ms. Anh Hoa said that the two independent but simultaneous events create a continuous chain of activities, expand cooperation opportunities and affirm the position of Ho Chi Minh City on the international tourism map.

"We believe that, with the large gathering of the international tourism community, the 19th Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair will create more opportunities for cooperation, attract international visitors to Vietnam, and at the same time promote cultural exchange and economic development.
Through that, Ho Chi Minh City continues to affirm its role as the economic and tourism center of the country, contributing to the goal of strong growth in the new period," Ms. Anh Hoa shared.
