In her opening speech, Vice Chairman of Hoang Mai Ward People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Trang emphasized that the voluntary blood donation festival of Hoang Mai Ward - Red Sunday - has become an event that has received the response of a large number of people in the ward, with the participation of many agencies, units and schools.
Contributing to the success of the Festival is the attention and participation of the entire political system, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, the Red Cross, the Youth Union, local associations and coordinating units, such as the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, schools; especially the spirit of volunteerism, enthusiasm and kindness of leaders of residential areas, neighborhood groups, Red Cross branches, union members, youth, students, volunteers and all people who have been contributing to spreading the spirit of voluntary blood donation.
In order for blood donation and voluntary blood donation activities to continue to develop, spread widely, effectively and practically, Vice Chairman of Hoang Mai Ward People's Committee Nguyen Quynh Trang called on all people in the area to always be ready and enthusiastic to participate in blood donation and actively mobilize everyone to donate blood to save lives, for a healthy and humane society, contributing to the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health, and the sustainable development of the country.
He requested the Ward Blood Donation Steering Committee, the Red Cross, the Health Station, the Department of Culture and Society, etc. to continue to review, improve and supplement relevant regulations to better implement policies and regimes for voluntary blood donors. Along with that, there should be practical and specific solutions and activities to further promote the effectiveness of voluntary blood donation.
All levels, sectors, agencies, units, schools, unions, Red Cross chapters, residential groups in the whole ward, especially forces such as: Health, police, army, Youth Union continue to pay attention to and promote voluntary blood donation; promote the role of the steering committee; encourage and create more favorable conditions for blood donors to continue to participate in regular blood donation...
"Hoang Mai Ward Voluntary Blood Donation Festival 2025" is organized in 2 phases: Phase 1 (November 30, 2025) at Yen So Secondary School; Phase 2 (December 14, 2025) at Hoa Mai Kindergarten.
With the spirit of "A drop of blood given - A life saved", the first phase of "Hoang Mai Ward Voluntary Blood Donation Festival 2025" was a great success, reaching 260 units of blood.
