Lam Dong receives 1,750 sets of school supplies for students in flood-affected areas

On November 28, the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross and the Lam Dong Provincial Education Promotion Association received 1,750 sets of school supplies from sponsors to support flood-affected students to continue going to school.

The gifts for primary school students include: 9,600 4-square notebooks, 2,400 5-square notebooks, 1,200 2B pencils and 2,400 purple felt-tip pens. The number of school supplies for secondary school students includes: 5,500 4-square notebooks and 1,650 027 ballpoint pens.

School supplies for students in flood-affected areas have been delivered to the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross and the Lam Dong Provincial Association for Promotion of Education.

All of these gifts were donated by Bitexco Group to support students of 5 primary schools and 2 secondary schools in the 2 communes of Quang Phu and D'ran. These are the areas most severely affected by the recent floods.

Accordingly, each primary school student will receive 8 4-square notebooks, 2 2-square notebooks, 1 2B Thien Long pencil and 2 purple felt-tip pens. Each secondary school student will receive 10 4-square notebooks and 3 027 ballpoint pens.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association, directly received gifts from the sponsored truck.

Immediately after receiving, the Provincial Red Cross Association and the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education will allocate the quantity and transfer it to support local students as soon as possible.

These are practical and meaningful gifts to help flood-affected children overcome difficulties and return to school.
