The Fair Connecting Supply and Demand, Promoting Nghe An Agricultural Products 2025 is an opportunity to promote typical agricultural products, connect markets, and affirm the agricultural identity of Nghe An.

A space for agricultural products and Nghe An identity to converge

On the evening of November 6, at the Central Park, Truong Vinh Ward, Nghe An Province, the opening ceremony of the Fair to Connect Supply and Demand, Promote Nghe An Agricultural Products in 2025 took place. The event is one of the key activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Agriculture and Environment Sector.

The Fair Connecting Supply and Demand, Promoting Nghe An Agricultural Products in 2025 took place from November 5-11 on a grand and professional scale, gathering hundreds of domestic and foreign units.

With 130 standard booths and 9 large display areas, this year's fair introduces hundreds of typical products of Nghe An, from Vinh oranges, Thanh Chuong tea, Nam Dan soy sauce to Quynh Luu fish sauce, Nghe eel... Besides that, there are OCOP products, typical craft village products, and an exhibition area of ​​the Western Nghe An Biosphere Reserve.

Not only enterprises and cooperatives in the province, the fair also attracted 38 communes and wards; 32 enterprises from Nghe An; 3 Japanese enterprises and 100 enterprises from all over the country such as Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Ninh, Khanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ngai, Tien Giang ... This diverse presence creates a vivid picture of an agriculture that is changing strongly, imbued with regional identity.

“We bring to the fair a variety of products from fresh deer antlers, dried antlers, antlers soaked in honey, to pre-processed products such as deer antlers extract and powdered deer antlers... These are not only farmers' products but also the quintessence of Quynh Anh land, produced according to clean processes, ensuring traceability. Participating in the fair is a valuable opportunity for us to connect, learn and expand the market,” said Mr. Nguyen Huu Tinh, Bao Long Deer Antlers.

Bridge of cooperation - expanding agricultural market

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van De, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee emphasized: "This is a very meaningful activity, aiming to introduce and promote the potential, strengths and typical products of Nghe An. At the same time, it creates opportunities for businesses, cooperatives and farmers to exchange, connect markets, expand investment cooperation, trade and technology transfer in the agricultural sector."

Over the years, Nghe An agriculture has continuously affirmed its role as a pillar of the economy. The production value in 2025 is estimated to reach over 45 trillion VND, the whole province has 737 OCOP products with 3 stars or more, of which 3 products have achieved 5 national stars. Nghe An agricultural product brands such as Vinh oranges, Nam Dan soy sauce, Quynh Luu fish sauce, freshwater eels... have not only conquered the domestic market but also gradually reached the international market.

At the fair, there were not only booths displaying traditional agricultural products, but also technology enterprises and environmental units introducing new solutions in sustainable agricultural production, energy saving, and nature-friendly. This was also a highlight demonstrating innovation and creativity in developing green agriculture and smart agriculture in Nghe An.

Among the crowd of visitors, Ms. Le Thi Mai, a tourist from Hanoi, excitedly shared: “I am very impressed with the way the products are displayed here. Each booth is carefully invested, clearly introducing the origin and production process. I bought some products such as Nghia Dan honey, Nghe Dong rice and Nam Dan soy sauce as gifts - both delicious and imbued with the flavor of Nghe An.”

Not only a place to introduce and consume agricultural products, the fair has also become a meeting place for cooperation and signing trade agreements. Many businesses have taken advantage of this opportunity to connect with potential partners. “We come from a clean food processing enterprise in Quang Ninh, the goal is to find a stable source of raw materials, especially OCOP products of Nghe An. Here, we signed a memorandum of understanding with 2 cooperatives for long-term cooperation in supplying clean agricultural products,” said Mr. Nguyen Hoang An, HTT Food Company.

Affirming Nghe An agricultural brand

According to Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De, for the event to be successful, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has closely coordinated with departments, branches and localities in organizing, ensuring safety, professionalism and efficiency. At the same time, the province called on international organizations, especially JICA, JETRO and Japanese enterprises, to strengthen cooperation, support the promotion and connection of Nghe An agricultural products to the world market.

This year's fair was organized in a systematic and modern manner, not only as a bustling trading place but also as a unique cultural space where people and tourists can experience and enjoy the quintessence of Nghe An agricultural products. This is a bridge to bring Nghe An's agricultural brand further and stronger, contributing to affirming Nghe An's position on the agricultural map of Vietnam and the region.

When the night lights shine brightly on the fair space, each booth is crowded with visitors, shoppers, and contract signings. It is not only the joy of farmers and businesses, but also a vivid demonstration of the new vitality of Nghe An agriculture - unique agriculture, integrated agriculture.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Agriculture and Environment Day and the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will organize a series of events from July to December 2025. The focus will be on the 80th anniversary of the Agriculture and Environment sector and the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress, scheduled to be held on the morning of November 12, 2025 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi) with more than 1,200 delegates attending, including leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, Government; former leaders of the Ministry, representatives of international organizations and advanced models in the whole industry.
