
On the morning of November 30, the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City entered its second working session, introducing the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, term I, 2025 - 2030. Previously, in the working session on November 29, the congress agreed on the number of members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, including 168 people; 146 members were consulted, 22 vacant positions will continue to be added after the congress.

At the first conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, delegates negotiated leadership positions. The results were reported to the congress: Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, continued to be trusted to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for the 2025-2030 term.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for the 2025 - 2030 term has 14 Vice Chairmen, including 8 full-time Vice Chairmen and 6 part-time Vice Chairmen. Of which, the full-time Vice Chairmen include: Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairmen; Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Member of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers' Association; Mr. Ngo Minh Hai, Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union; Ms. Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union; Mr. Nguyen Minh Hoang, National Assembly delegate, Major General, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Veterans' Association; Mr. Phan Hong An, Vice Chairmen in charge of the field; Mr. Pham Minh Tuan, Vice Chairmen in charge of the field. Of these, Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh continues to be consulted to hold the position of Permanent Vice Chairmen

The non-professional Vice Presidents include: Most Venerable Thich Le Trang, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Phan Thanh Binh, former member of the Party Central Committee, Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong, Hero of Labor, People's Physician, former Director of Tu Du Hospital; Father Gioan Baotixita Nguyen Van Rien, National Assembly delegate, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Catholic Solidarity Committee.

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, entering the 2025 - 2030 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City determined to continue promoting its core role in building the great national unity bloc; accompanying the government in taking care of people's lives; strengthening mobilization and gathering people of all walks of life to implement the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and policies and the development program of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City set out three general goals, emphasizing the consolidation of the tradition of solidarity, promoting the creativity of the people, contributing to building Ho Chi Minh City into a civilized, modern urban area with a prominent position in the region by 2030.

According to the political report, in this term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City will deploy the breakthrough program "Digital Front - Digital Education for the People" with two focuses: Implementing democracy at the grassroots level according to the motto "people know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit" and effectively participate in the pillar resolutions and thematic resolutions of the Central Committee and Ho Chi Minh City.
