Da Nang tourism accelerates to attract visitors with 5 special programs

On August 15, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city coordinated to organize a stimulus program to attract tourists to the city on the banks of the Han River in the last months of 2025.

With the theme "New Da Nang - New Experience", the program focuses on diversifying products, enhancing experiences and applying digital transformation in the entire tourism service chain with 5 special programs and 2 outstanding digital transformation solutions.

Special programs include: “Enjoy Da Nang - Many new experiences”; Experience passport “Da Nang Food Tour - Heritage Tour - Green Tour”; Experience journey of events and festivals; Campaign “I love Da Nang - I love Da Nang”; Special policies for MICE tourism and wedding tourism.

Two digital transformation solutions are online payment via VNPAY to support international customers to pay easily by phone number, international card without having to exchange cash; online experience passport integrated on TripC platform, allowing users to check-in, download invoices and redeem gifts through points participating in the program.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang Truong Thi Hong Hanh said that the tourism stimulus program at the end of 2025 has a special meaning, Da Nang tourism has entered a new page - a tourist city with a larger space after expanding its boundaries, ready to welcome visitors from all over the world. The program contributes to promoting a safe and friendly destination with many unique experiences in the new space of Da Nang city, thereby contributing to attracting tourists, diverse products and services with the goal of welcoming 17.3 million visitors in 2025.

To achieve the set goals, the Department continues to promote in key markets on media channels, organize press conferences and participate in a series of domestic and international tourism fairs such as: Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair 2025, Tourism Expo Japan, WTM Fair and Da Nang Tourism Introduction Program in the UK, Vietnam Culture - Tourism Festival in Korea in the coming time. The campaign "I love Da Nang - I love Da Nang" will also be widely promoted in key international markets such as Korea, Japan, Taiwan (China), Thailand, Malaysia.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang announced the application of the Cultural Tourism Criteria - Da Nang SMILE to improve service quality, civilized and friendly attitudes from people, tourism units to the tourist community, contributing to building the image of a safe, civilized and hospitable city.

The city's tourism stimulus program has the participation of more than 300 businesses, museums, relics, tourist attractions; airlines, tourist accommodation establishments, travel agencies, restaurants, shopping establishments; more than 200 tourism service businesses of the city, technology solution providers VNPAY, TripC, AI...
