Launching the book "President Ho Chi Minh with General Nguyen Chi Thanh"

Within the framework of the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace launched the book "President Ho Chi Minh with General Nguyen Chi Thanh".

The book is the result of joint research, compilation and publication by the Presidential Palace Relic Site and Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum with the support of the People's Army Publishing House. This is the first book published about President Ho Chi Minh and General Nguyen Chi Thanh.

President Ho Chi Minh was not only an outstanding leader but also a talented educator , who directly trained and nurtured a generation of excellent colleagues, cadres and party members, making great contributions to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause.

Among the elite cadres discovered, trained and entrusted with important responsibilities by President Ho Chi Minh, General Nguyen Chi Thanh is a typical figure because of his patriotism, love for the people and especially his talent and strategic vision in the military .

From a boy born in a poor countryside along the poetic Bo River in Hue, with his talent, virtue and steadfast qualities, Nguyen Vinh - Nguyen Chi Thanh has forged his will to rise up and mature in the fire of struggle, becoming a pioneering, enthusiastic communist soldier, an exemplary revolutionary leader, an excellent son of the Party and the nation.

The book gathers 80 historical events with illustrations to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), which is also the 80th anniversary of the first time Nguyen Vinh met and had the honor of being named Nguyen Chi Thanh by leader Ho Chi Minh in the Tan Trao Liberated Zone (August 17, 1945 - August 17, 2025).

The book collects 80 historical events with illustrations to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The book depicts the special relationship between the genius leader of the Vietnamese revolution and an excellent student, a loyal colleague. The 80 contents in the book also depict the contributions of General Nguyen Chi Thanh in the struggle for the independence and freedom of the country and the happiness of the people. The book was published to fulfill the wish of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh (son of General Nguyen Chi Thanh) during his lifetime.

Ms. Le Thi Phuong, Director of the Presidential Palace Relic Site, said that this is the first time the Relic Site has coordinated with the Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum to compile, publish and launch a book about President Ho Chi Minh and General Nguyen Chi Thanh.
