Ford – Mustang Mach-E launch video on the morning of August 15
“Since 1995, when we became the first American automaker to invest in Vietnam, Ford has been a living testament to our deep commitment to this promising market. Today, that commitment is stronger than ever. We are proud to introduce not just one, but two exciting new vehicles to Vietnamese customers, including the all-electric Mustang Mach-E. This is more than just a new product launch, it is also an affirmation of our belief in a vibrant and exciting future for Ford in Vietnam, driving innovation and sustainable mobility,” said Jeff Marentic, president, Ford International Markets Group.
Looking ahead to the next 30 years, Ford introduces two new models, the Ford Territory and the legendary Mustang Mach-E, affirming its commitment to innovation and enhancing the user experience.

Ford has built a community of engaged users through interactive activities, forming the Ford spirit, where the relationship between the brand and customers goes beyond the value of a vehicle, becoming a lasting bond.
Vietnam becomes the first market outside of North America to launch the global “Building Together” initiative, a partnership between Ford Philanthropy, Ford and its dealer network in a joint effort to support the community. The initiative also encourages Ford owners clubs, non-profit organizations and volunteers to contribute to making practical and sustainable contributions to society.
“In Vietnam, we will cooperate with AIP Foundation, a community organization that has been operating since 1999, to implement safety training programs and support communities to improve their capacity to prevent and respond to natural disasters.
We will also fund scholarships through the Ford Automotive Technician Program, training the next generation of technicians,” said Mary Culler, President of Ford Philanthropy.
At the same time, in the program, Ford launched the Ford Volunteer Hub platform, where Ford Vietnam employees can search and register for volunteer activities, spreading the spirit of sharing.
Ford Vietnam has invested more than $200 million over the past three decades, including an $82 million investment to expand its Hai Duong assembly plant by 2022, tripling capacity to 40,000 vehicles per year.
The Hai Duong factory currently has more than 1,200 employees, 90% of whom are local workers and 20% are female. At its system of 56 dealerships and branches, Ford has created nearly 7,000 direct and indirect jobs, making a strong contribution to the development of the Vietnamese automobile industry.
Ford's product development strategy has always been based on market demand and mobility trends, from early iconic models such as Laser and EcoSport, to current flagship products such as Ranger, Everest, Transit and Territory.
To date, three of Ford’s four flagship products are leaders in their respective segments. The Ranger dominates the pickup segment, the Transit leads the commercial vehicle segment, and the Everest is among the most popular mid-size SUVs. The Territory has quickly become the second best-selling C-segment urban SUV in its segment since its launch.
Vietnam is the first market to launch a four-hour or free mobile repair service, which is now available in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Ford has also continued to invest in digital infrastructure and mobility solutions such as the FordPass app, which helps customers manage their vehicle ownership experience conveniently.
“In addition to quality products, we are committed to providing customers with an ownership experience that meets global standards and beyond.
Mr. Ruchik Shah, General Director of Ford Vietnam shared: "The 30-year milestone is a testament to Ford's enduring journey in Vietnam, and at the same time a springboard for us to step into the future with stronger steps. We will continue to promote innovation, enhance customer experience, and make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of Vietnam. Passion will always be the driving force for all our efforts from developing breakthrough products and services to meaningful activities for the community."
