Viet Huong, Hong Dao, Le Khanh "come together" in a new movie

After a period of keeping the cast a secret, the information has just been revealed by the crew in the teaser trailer.

Accordingly, from the role of the eldest sister-in-law in Sister-in-law , Viet Huong will take on the role of the grandmother (Mrs. Hau) in Grandma's Gold . This is the model of a woman who loves her children and grandchildren but is stubborn and rigid with her own impositions.

Artist Hong Dao - who is making waves at the August box office in Mang me di bo - will play the role of a grandmother (Mrs. Khanh) who pays attention to her appearance and loves foreign things.

Le Khanh (as Diem) returns with a graceful comedy routine as Diem, the "rude" daughter who likes to be sarcastic with Mrs. Khanh.

Talking about continuing to have the couple "Viet Huong - Hong Dao" for this project, director Khuong Ngoc shared that after completing the previous project, he proposed to both of them.

“To receive the nod from the ladies was a huge challenge for me to overcome. Besides, I also feel lucky to continue working with experienced and skilled actors who also participated in Ngoai's Gold ,” Khuong Ngoc shared.

In the teaser trailer, director Khuong Ngoc leads the audience back to the memories of when he was a newborn, just born, he was taken care of by his grandmother, had his diaper changed...

And even when I had a fever, my grandmother was the one who rushed to take care of me. Besides, her love also included defending and protecting me, even stubbornly, when someone gave me advice or scolded me, even if it was just talking about the inevitable thing of "growing up means going to school".

The journey tells the story of the love between two generations of grandmother and grandchild, also distilled by director Khuong Ngoc through prominent time points: watching the "golden nugget" through the isolation glass in the delivery room, the stage when the child starts to grow up until going to kindergarten, the feelings with the grandchild with familiar questions "When you grow up, what will you do to support grandma?", "Who is grandma's gold nugget?"...

In addition to the 3 female characters mentioned above, the teaser also surprised the audience with the appearance of Meritorious Artist Huu Chau and actress Bang Di.

In it, Bang Di plays Thuong, the daughter of Mrs. Hau (played by Viet Huong) who suffers from postpartum depression and wants to escape the suffocation from life as well as from her mother.

Belonging to the family psychology genre, Grandma's Gold Cube revolves around the relationship of 3 generations: grandmother-mother-grandchild. The film especially explores the grandmother-grandchild relationship to honor the noble values of Vietnamese women, not afraid to sacrifice themselves, always saving, setting aside, and caring for their children and grandchildren.
