Accordingly, 6 organizations and more than 1,1650 households and individuals have been affected, with a total recovered area of about 741 hectares. The Ca Mau - Dat Mui Expressway project passes through 10 communes. According to the plan, by December 15, 100% of the project site will be handed over.

To complete the handover of the site on schedule, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province Lu Quang Ngoi suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and socio- political organizations promote their pioneering role and promote propaganda work so that people can clearly understand the meaning and importance of the project. Communes where the project passes through need to focus highly, the entire political system needs to get involved, mobilize households to hand over the site on schedule, and implement policies to ensure compliance with the law.
The Ca Mau - Dat Mui Expressway is 81km long, has 4 lanes, a design speed of 100km/h, and costs nearly VND59,000 billion. It is being implemented under an emergency order and is expected to be completed in 2028. With the road to Hon Khoai Island and Hon Khoai Port, site clearance work is guaranteed as required.
