Lam Dong is ready for the event "Moving forward with Vietnam"

Implementing the plan of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee on coordinating the organization of the event "Moving forward with Vietnam" in the province, agencies, units and localities have implemented the contents according to the plan, ready to record the steps contributing to the journey carrying the message "1 billion steps into the new era".

In particular, Lam Dong Provincial Police presided over and coordinated with the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Lam Dong and departments, branches and localities to prepare conditions for the event to take place successfully, safely and as planned.

The event “Moving Forward with Vietnam” was organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security nationwide, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2, the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day, the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection and the Campaign “All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho”.

This is a community activity of unprecedented scale and significance. For the first time, the walking activity took place simultaneously in 34 provinces, cities, communes, wards and special zones nationwide.

In Lam Dong, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to coordinate the organization of the event "Moving Forward with Vietnam" in the province. In particular, it requires agencies, units, and localities in the province to organize the event to ensure solemnity, safety, and economy; mobilize all social resources in the organization.

The event “Moving Forward with Vietnam” in Lam Dong will have a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, soldiers of the armed forces; the core is the people's police force and the masses participating in the response.

To successfully implement the event, in the past time, Lam Dong Provincial Police have urgently chaired and coordinated the implementation of contents and items according to plan.

For the provincial event, Lam Dong Provincial Police directed the development, careful review and agreement on each organization plan, from welcoming delegates, team formation, walking route to connecting live television from Hanoi to the LED screen at Lam Vien Square - Da Lat.

Decorations, celebrations, arrangements of tour guides, water points, medical staff on duty, and weather response plans are all implemented synchronously, ensuring absolute security, order, and spreading the message of a green lifestyle.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province assigned Lam Dong Art Theater to coordinate with the Dak Nong Cultural and Geopark Management Center and Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union to organize a street music program at three walking spots around Xuan Huong Lake, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat and a folk dance program, aiming to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere for people and tourists when they come to participate in the event. It is expected that the entire Lam Dong province will mobilize more than 35,000 people to participate; of which, at the provincial level, there will be at least 5,400 people; each commune, ward, and special zone will have from 300 to 500 people. From July 25 to August 16, people nationwide can register online at: cungvietnamtienbuoc.nhandan.vn and start recording their steps to contribute to the journey with the message "1 billion steps towards a new era", a practical activity to show patriotism, reduce carbon emissions and move towards the country's Net Zero goal.

From 6:00 to 6:30 a.m. on August 16, participants nationwide will head to Ba Dinh Square to watch the national flag raising ceremony, sing the national anthem and perform other program activities. From 6:30 to 7:30 a.m., participants will walk across the country.

According to the above schedule, in the central area of Lam Dong province, walk around Xuan Huong Lake; in other localities across the province, follow the planned content and schedule.
