Over the past period, the political security, order, and social safety situation in My Hoa Hung commune has remained stable. Crime prevention and control efforts have been strengthened, with no "hot spots" emerging. The movement of all citizens protecting national security has been effectively maintained; the local police force has played a key role well. According to Vo Minh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of My Hoa Hung commune, thanks to the decisive involvement and coordinated efforts of various agencies, departments, and organizations, along with the proactive and dedicated spirit of the local police force, national security, order, and social safety have been maintained. Crimes related to social order, economics, drugs, and the environment have been curbed and reduced, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

In 2025, all types of crimes and legal violations were significantly reduced. The number of social order violations in the commune decreased by 9 cases compared to the same period in 2024; 3 social vice hotspots were eradicated; only 1 case of high-tech crime occurred; and drug-related crimes were detected and handled promptly. The commune experienced no traffic accidents or fires/explosions. Ms. Ngoc Loan, residing in My An 1 hamlet, said: “The security and order situation in the commune is much more stable than before, social vices have been almost completely eradicated, and people can live and do business with peace of mind. I hope that this situation will be maintained in the future so that My Hoa Hung commune will be crime-free.”

To mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system and the whole population in preventing, combating, and suppressing crime and social evils, the Provincial Police Department has just implemented a plan to build My Hoa Hung island commune into a crime-free area. According to the leaders of the Provincial Police Department's Administrative Management and Social Order Police Division, the plan not only aims to reduce crime but also focuses on addressing the root causes and conditions that give rise to violations. At the same time, it comprehensively reviews and rectifies the management of the area and target groups, improving the effectiveness of state management in security and order, while promoting the application of science , technology, and digital transformation in crime prevention and control. The plan will be implemented in stages, with specific targets. My Hoa Hung strives to achieve the crime-free commune criterion by 2026 and maintain it firmly until 2030.

Colonel Nguyen Nhat Truong, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, commended the achievements of the My Hoa Hung Commune Police and requested the unit to concretize its action plan according to the "6 clear" principle: Clear person, clear task, clear time, clear result, clear responsibility, and clear authority. Along with this, the police force needs to strengthen local management, promptly detect and prevent illegal activities; proactively combat acts of exploiting cyberspace and political events to cause unrest and disrupt security and order; and promote public awareness campaigns to encourage people to report crimes, especially on social media platforms. The professional departments of the Provincial Police need to closely coordinate with local police forces to provide comprehensive and timely support in handling emerging issues, preventing the formation of "hot spots".

According to Mr. Vo Minh Tuan, ensuring security and order is the responsibility of the entire political system, in which the role of the leader is decisive. The implementation of building crime-free communes is identified as a key task, requiring high determination, decisive action, clear assignment of responsibilities, and regular inspection and supervision.
