On the evening of July 24, Hai Hung commune ( Hai Phong city) organized the program "Hai Hung homeland - the day of return", presenting 30 restored portraits to relatives of martyrs' families.
The program to restore photos of martyrs began in June 2025. From black and white photos, blurred by the traces of time, the youth of Hai Hung commune coordinated to survey and restore them into clear color photos, and presented them to the families of the martyrs.
This is a program with profound humanistic values, expressing the gratitude and appreciation of the young generation for the noble sacrifices of heroic martyrs in the cause of national liberation.
Along with presenting the restored portraits, Hai Hung commune also called for socialized resources to present 30 gifts to the martyrs' families.
On the same day, the Hai Hung Commune Youth Union coordinated with Tam Duc General Clinic to organize medical examinations for war invalids, sick soldiers, and meritorious people in the commune.
During the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland, Hai Hung commune had 3,732 children sacrificed, 1,379 people were injured, 936 sick soldiers, 972 resistance fighters and their children were infected with toxic chemicals, 15 veteran revolutionary cadres, 129 resistance fighters were imprisoned by the enemy, 409 heroic Vietnamese mothers and hundreds of people who contributed to and helped the revolution...
