The fire occurred at approximately 10:00 AM on June 2nd at the Tan Phat Woodworking Company Limited's workshop located on Provincial Road 422 in Di Trach, Hoai Duc commune. The fire took place in a workshop undergoing renovations, covering an area of approximately 1,100 square meters. The main combustible materials were wood, plastic, and other flammable materials, generating significant smoke and toxic fumes, posing a potential risk of spreading to surrounding areas.

Upon receiving the report, the authorities of Hoai Duc commune and the fire department immediately arrived at the scene, deploying several fire trucks.
Speaking with reporters from the Hanoi Press and Broadcasting Agency, Nguyen Quy Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Hoai Duc Commune People's Committee, confirmed the incident and stated that the fire has been extinguished.
According to initial reports, the fire caused no casualties. Property damage is currently being assessed. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
Earlier, at noon on June 1st, a fire also occurred at an electric motorbike shop in Lai Xa area, Hoai Duc commune. The incident did not cause any casualties.
In recent days, Hanoi and many northern localities have been experiencing prolonged heatwaves. Authorities advise people, especially businesses, production facilities, and service establishments, to raise their awareness and comply with fire prevention and control regulations.
At the same time, facilities need to regularly inspect and maintain electrical systems, equip themselves with adequate on-site fire fighting equipment, proactively develop contingency plans to minimize damage to people and property, and ensure clear escape routes for timely response in case of an incident.
